All this on incredibly sturdy stems that reach up to 3–4' the first year, 5–6' the next year and upwards to 6–8' in three years! This rapid growth comes in part from the Lily Tree’s unique ability to offshoot new stems from a single bulb. It’s almost like planting a lily flower shrub! Carefree and easy to grow, Lily Trees are ideal for planting at the back of borders or the corner of beds where their massive height can be fully appreciated. They are excellent visual anchors that will help define your landscape. Bright green foliage forms a magnificent backdrop for other lilies as well as other perennials.
This collection includes 3 each of the following varieties:
- Empoli: Huge, 8" blooms in rich shades of reddish pink to dark pink. Each fragrant, out-facing lily offers a large, golden star in the centre that beckons butterflies and visitors to take a closer look.
- Red Morning: Bronze blooms edged in yellow-orange arrive in mid to late summer to warm up your garden.
- Conca d’Or: Bright lemon-yellow lilies lighten to a creamy, buttery hue at the tips—a subtle yet sophisticated colouration!
- Purple Prince: The 8", upward-facing blooms of this Lily Tree are a rare shade of reddish purple with a green throat and a trumpet shape.
- Anastasia: Pink-and-white blooms generously speckled in a deeper pink hue, and featuring an intense fragrance that’s sure to please.
