The Variegated Hoya Compacta, also known as the Variegated Hindu Rope, is a mesmerizing plant with its thick, curly, rope-like leaves adorned with stunning cream, yellow, or white variegation. Its cascading vines make it a perfect hanging plant, and when mature, it produces fragrant, star-shaped flowers that add even more charm!

🌿 Care Instructions:

  • Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light. Some morning sun can enhance variegation, but avoid harsh afternoon rays to prevent leaf burn.
  • Water: Water sparingly—allow soil to dry out between waterings. Its thick, waxy leaves store moisture, making it drought-tolerant. Overwatering can cause root rot.
  • Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity, but adapts well to average indoor conditions.
  • Soil: Use a well-draining mix like a cactus/succulent blend or orchid bark mix to ensure proper aeration.
  • Temperature: Keep in a warm environment, ideally between 65-85°F (18-29°C). Protect from cold drafts.
  • Growth: Slow-growing but long-living—patience will be rewarded with stunning foliage and, in the right conditions, clusters of fragrant pink blooms!

I was really excited to try the Steve Madden Women's Wafer Heeled Sandals, but unfortunately, I’m disappointed with the quality. While the heel height is cute, the overall construction doesn’t seem to provide enough support, which made walking in them less comfortable than I anticipated. For the price, I expected better quality and comfort. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend these sandals.

I used to work at Steve Madden and can tell you with 100% confidence if you're ever buying one of their heels with a pointier toe, you need to go up an entire size or your foot is going to suffer. These are a perfect "high" stiletto, they're definitely not low and I wouldn't say they're a breeze to walk in unless you're used to heels. I will vouch for how comfortable they are though given the height and the shape - they're as comfortable as a heel like this could be for sure! If you have skinnier ankles, definitely recommend punching an extra hole in the strap.
