Its rosettes are small, typically forming neat clusters of only a few centimetres across, yet they pack in a surprising amount of detail. The foliage is green at its base, often tipped or flushed with pink to red tones that intensify under bright light or cooler conditions. This ever-changing colour palette gives the plant a delightful, jewel-like quality, perfectly suited to its whimsical name.

Growing low to the ground, ‘Pixie’ spreads readily by producing numerous offsets, gradually forming dense mats of rosettes.
