Variegated Pilea Cadierei Aluminium Plant Care
Watering
Allow the top inch of soil to dry before watering. Water the plant thoroughly, ensuring proper drainage to prevent overwatering and root rot.
Light
Provide bright, indirect light to maintain the vibrancy of the leaves. Avoid exposing the plant to direct sunlight, as it can scorch the foliage.
Temperature
Maintain a temperature range of 60-75°F (15-24°C). Protect the plant from cold drafts and sudden temperature fluctuations.
Soil Mix
Use well-draining, peat-based potting mix that retains moisture. A blend of peat moss, perlite, and potting soil is suitable.
Humidity
Variegated Pilea Cadierei thrives in average indoor humidity levels. If the air is dry, increase humidity by misting the plant or placing a tray of water nearby.
Fertilizer
Feed the plant with a balanced, diluted liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Avoid over-fertilizing, as it can lead to excessive growth of non-variegated leaves.
