In lower/colder zones can grow as an annual. Flowers are red with orange centers. Typically I start seeing Monarch caterpillars feeding on this host plant starting in October. By February these plants are covered in caterpillars.

Germination: 2-3 weeks, milkweed is a slow germinator
Seed Sowing Depth: 1/4” deep
