The Snake Plant ‘Green Hahnii’, botanically known as Sansevieria trifasciata ‘Hahnii’, is a compact and structured houseplant prized for its dense rosette form and deep green foliage. Often referred to as a bird’s nest snake plant, this variety grows lower and wider than traditional upright snake plants, making it an excellent choice for smaller spaces where a clean, architectural look is desired.

What sets the snake plant green hahnii apart is its ability to deliver the durability snake plants are known for in a more contained size. Its thick, upright leaves form a tidy cluster that stays relatively compact over time, making it well suited for desks, shelves, side tables, and low-light corners. The solid green leaves give it a classic, understated appearance that blends easily into a wide range of interior styles.

This compact snake plant is ideal for anyone seeking an easy care houseplant that doesn’t demand frequent attention. Like other Sansevieria varieties, it stores water in its leaves, allowing it to tolerate periods of dryness without stress. This makes it a reliable option for busy households, offices, or plant owners who prefer a more hands-off approach to care.

Care for sansevieria hahnii is simple and forgiving. The plant tolerates low light conditions but performs best in bright indirect light, where growth is more consistent. Direct sunlight should be avoided, as prolonged exposure can cause leaf damage. Watering should be done sparingly, only after the soil has dried out completely. Well-draining soil is essential to prevent moisture-related issues, and the plant does not require high humidity to thrive in indoor environments.

Pet safety is an important consideration with this plant. The Snake Plant ‘Green Hahnii’ is not pet-friendly. It is toxic to cats and dogs if ingested and should be kept out of reach in homes with pets. Placement on elevated surfaces or in rooms pets cannot access is recommended.

During shipping and acclimation, this bird’s nest snake plant generally handles transport well. Some mild stress or cosmetic changes may occur, but the plant typically adjusts quickly once placed in stable indoor conditions. Allowing the plant to settle for a short period before watering helps reduce stress and supports healthy establishment.

If you’re looking for a compact, low-maintenance plant with strong structure and long-lasting appeal, the Snake Plant ‘Green Hahnii’ is a dependable choice for indoor spaces.

Very Helpful with dry mouth due to Autoimmune illnesses
Size: 1 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I have an illness that causes very dry mouth and nothing seems to work even a $65.00 prescription that was recommended. My hygienist suggested I try Salivea, so I got the spray. I can honestly say nothing has work quite like this. It's only been a few days but I also bought the toothpaste and mouthwash. I'm highly impressed so thank you Loretta for recommending

This book may be life-changing!
Format: Paperback
This book gives an explanation of Bowen's family system theory. The first half of the book is heavy on the theory, and then the second half gets into a little bit of how to use it in real life. It doesn't read like a self-help book, and Gilbert gets props for not using words like "codependence" and other jingoistic psychobabbly words. She's completely blunt and realistic, and it's all well-written. The basic theory is this: in order to have good relationships, you have to be a well-differentiated, individual self. This means that you have solid boundaries, and you can relate to other people without "lending and borrowing" the self, as Gilbert says. Or in my view, you can be friends with people without trying to become them or making them become you. Ironically, in order to work on being a differentiated self you have to do the work through your relationships. None of us are perfectly differentiated, so we can all improve our basic selves and our relationships. The less differentiated we are, the more anxiety in our relationships (because we get all tense about them), and the more they take on the following five postures, which can relieve anxiety in the short term but only mess things up more over time: conflict, distancing, triangling, under/over-functioning, and cut-off. Probably the most important aspect of this theory is that undifferentiation and relationship postures are carried on from generation to generation. So it's not really your parents fault, but yes you learned it all from them, and they learned it from their parents, etc etc. Also your own level of differentiation and the postures you adopt in relationships are based on how you interacted with your entire family of origin, not just your parents. Gilbert stresses that in order to move up the scale of differentiation and have better relationships, we have to go back to our original families and work on our relationships there. This doesn't involve changing anyone else or acting like a therapist- all it involves is changing ourselves, and the way we relate to everyone else. There is a lot more, I'm only scratching the surface here. I am so glad I found this book, because it is convincing and explains everything clearly. I am motivated to try to work on myself, and I have some idea of how to proceed. Other books I've read on the subject were too barfy and jargony, or they touched on the surface of the issues without getting to the heart of the matter.
