How to use our candles
On your first light, allow the entire surface of wax to melt — a minimum of 3 hours. That first burn is the most important. If the candle is not burned for long enough to allow the wax to liquefy or to melt from edge to edge of the container, it will create a “memory ring.”
- Trim the wick to 1/4" each time before lighting and enjoying
- Do not burn the candle for more than four hours at a time
- When there is 1/4" of wax left in your candle remove the remaining wax & upcycle the glass*
- Never leave a burning candle unattended
- Keep the candle out of reach of children and pets
- Keep the candle away from drafts and vibrations
- Always burn candles on a level, fire-resistant surface
- Use a candle snuffer instead of blowing the candle out
- Candles get hot, use something to handle the candle if moving after burning
- Allow the candle to cool before moving
- For a better burning experience, trim the candle wick before each use – and always protect the surface on which the candle sits.
