The Crinkle Leaf Plant, Adromischus Cristatus, is a captivating succulent prized for its unique and striking foliage. This compact plant is native to South Africa, making it highly adaptable to a variety of indoor environments. Its defining feature is the crinkled, fleshy leaves that curl up along the edges, giving it a textured and ornamental appeal. The leaves are generally green, with a hint of silver sheen, and have a plump, thick appearance that stores water, making the plant drought-tolerant. During the growing season, you may also witness the emergence of small, tubular flowers that add a delicate touch to the plant's overall beauty. Perfect for both succulent enthusiasts and beginners, the Crinkle Leaf Plant thrives in bright, indirect light but can also tolerate lower light levels, making it versatile for different indoor spaces. Its slow growth and compact size make it ideal for small pots or even terrariums, adding a touch of greenery without taking up much space. With proper care, the Crinkle Leaf Plant can become a long-lasting, low-maintenance addition to your home or office, enhancing your surroundings with its distinct appearance and easygoing nature.

  • Watering: Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so it’s important to ensure the plant is in a well-draining pot and only water when the soil is fully dry. Humidity: The Crinkle Leaf Plant prefers low to average indoor humidity levels. It's not sensitive to dry indoor air, making it suitable for most home environments.
  • Light Requirements: Thrives in bright, indirect sunlight but can tolerate low light conditions. Place near a window that receives filtered light or in a shaded corner of a room with natural light. Temperature: Prefers temperatures between 65°F to 75°F (18°C to 24°C). Avoid placing the plant near drafts, cold windows, or in excessively hot areas.
  • Soil and Potting: Use a well-draining cactus or succulent potting mix. Ensure that the pot has drainage holes to prevent water accumulation at the base, which can harm the plant’s roots. USDA Hardiness Zone: The Crinkle Leaf Plant (Adromischus cristatus) is suitable for USDA hardiness zones 9 to 11. In these zones, it can be grown outdoors, but it is generally kept indoors in cooler climates where temperatures can drop below 50°F (10°C).
  • Leaf Shape and Texture: The plant is characterized by its thick, crinkled leaves, which give it a unique and textured look. These leaves curl upward along the edges, creating a wavy, rippled effect that adds visual interest. Color: The leaves of the Crinkle Leaf Plant are a deep, vibrant green with a soft silver undertone. This subtle sheen enhances the overall aesthetic, making the plant stand out in a variety of settings.
  • Size: Typically, this plant remains small, growing to a height of around 4 to 6 inches. Its compact growth makes it ideal for small spaces such as tabletops or windowsills. Flowers: Although flowering is rare in indoor environments, the Crinkle Leaf Plant may produce small, tubular blooms that are white or pale pink. These flowers grow on tall stems and add a charming touch to the plant’s appearance during the blooming season.

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.

Slightly repetitive but I did love some things
Format: Kindle
I love this type of story. And omegaverse is one of my all time favorite genres. But there are a few things that pulled me out of my enjoyment while I was reading. It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character. There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2. Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver. And how he started changing around her.

delightful read
Format: Kindle
What a delightful read. The characters are awesome, the plot was so good, I loved it. I was intrigued and it kept me wanting more. Told in multiple pov, the book sucks you in and doesn’t let go. I cannot wait to read the next book.
