UNS Plant Food MAX is a concentrated liquid fertilizer designed to support demanding planted aquariums. Formulated with a complete blend of macro and micronutrients, it promotes stronger, faster aquatic plant growth.
It is ideal for established setups with dense plant mass and higher lighting, as well as aquariums with nutrient-demanding plant species. As plants mature beyond the initial acclimation phase, it provides the consistent nutrient support needed for continued healthy growth.
Safe for most freshwater fish and shrimp when used as directed, Plant Food MAX is a reliable solution for aquascapers who want vigorous, vibrant plant growth.
Choosing Between Plant Food MAX and MIN
Plant Food MAX is ideal for aquariums with dense plant growth, nutrient-demanding species, and setups with higher lighting and CO2 injection. For lightly planted tanks or setups with nutrient-rich substrates, Plant Food MIN offers a toned down approach to maintaining plant health and steady growth.
Plant Food MAX Highlights
- Ideal for heavily planted aquariums and nutrient-demanding plant species.
- Designed for established setups with increased nutrient requirements.
- Supports faster growth, vivid color and helps address nutrient deficiencies.
- Best used in balanced systems with higher lighting and CO2 injection.
- Crystallization may occur in colder temperatures due to the concentration of the formula and does not affect product quality or effectiveness.
- Looking for a gentler approach? Check out UNS Plant Food MIN!
Size: 500ml / 16.9FL Oz.
Dosing Instructions: Add 1 pump per 5 gallons of water every other day. Perform a 30–50% weekly water change for best results.
Plant Food MAX is a concentrated formula. To avoid excess nutrients in the water column, follow dosing instructions and maintain regular water changes. In unbalanced tanks or setups with existing algae, excess nutrients may contribute to more algae growth.
