Description
Lavender Munstead is a stunning, compact variety of English lavender, prized for its beautifully aromatic foliage and vibrant, deep purple-blue flower spikes. Blooming in early to mid-summer, this hardy perennial brings a refreshing splash of color and a soothing fragrance to the landscape. Its fine, silvery-green foliage provides year-round interest, offering a polished and tidy look even when not in bloom. Perfect for borders, rock gardens, herb gardens, or container plantings, this lavender is a standout for adding structure, texture, and a satisfying sensory experience to any space.
General Care
- Sunlight: Prefers full sun
- Watering: Once established, water occasionally, allowing soil to dry between waterings
- Mulching: Apply a thin layer of mulch to help regulate soil temperature, but avoid excessive moisture retention
- Pruning: Prune lightly after flowering and again in early spring to encourage fresh growth and maintain a tidy form
With its gorgeous blooms, intoxicating fragrance, and year-round appeal, Lavender Munstead is one of the finest choices for adding elegance, structure, and a refreshing aroma to the landscape.
