To water plants in LECA, place the pot inside a decorative outer pot or on a tray/saucer. Pour water until it's leveled just below the bottom of the root system. This puts your plant in charge of how much water it's receiving, and it can sip on the water that's been soaked in by the LECA. Simply keep the water reservoir topped up at the bottom, below root level, and your plant will take what it needs.

The poli-ox worked well, just know that it will require several applications to remove old buildup and oxidation. once you are done, the paint will still look oxidized, but once you put the sealer on, the color will be deep and shiny. The sealer itself is supposed to be enough for a much bigger RV than we used it for. (17') We used 3/4 of a bottle for 1 side, due to the fact that we would remove and start over because it left ridges like a brush in paint. On the second side of the RV, we scrapped using the Mitt, and low and behold, using a microfiber towel to apply solved all of the issues. No more ridges and the remaining 1/4 of the bottle was enough to apply 5 coats. The mitt also wastes a LOT of product. So be warned use a Microfiber towel (that has been previously washed) and it will save you a LOT of time, money and angst.
