- Bismarckia develops fairly quickly into a large and stunning tree that is excellently suited for the subtropical or tropical garden, for parks, and for breathtaking avenues.
- It is tolerant of drought and a few degrees of frost and wants a place in full sun, such as it enjoys in the highland savannas of its native home of Madagascar.
- There is only one species within this genus. It is a stately single trunk palm that has a good sized trunk and, over many decades, can get tall. First introduced into the commercial nursery market about twenty years ago, it is being used both commercially and in the home garden in increasing frequency.
- It is commonly called the Bismarck Palm. Either as a single specimen or in groups, this is a strikingly beautiful species. It is most commonly known for its silver blue color. Remember that most gardeners and enthusiasts love blue palm trees.

I was looking forward to my textbook which arrived in great condition. I needed to activate the ebook and it was a disaster. I could not redeem my code for unclear reasons, I called the number in the textbook which took me to an India location, answered by someone who could not enter my e-mail correctly, and ended having to create a ticket. I was told I had to wait 24-48 hours to resolve the issue. I called the Editorial company and they were not able to help stating it was not their issue. It has been very frustrating.
I bought 6 medical books from Elsevier, all of them redeemed as I received them, immediately activated. No hassles at all. Big difference in services between editorial companies and digital resources

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS BOOK.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Do not purchase if you intend to use the Access Code. I was very careful to scratch off the Access code, but you can see it was still unreadable. I went to the website and submitted a ticket. One option for a reason to submit a ticket is 'unreadable access code", so they know this is a problem. They ask for a photo of the code and a receipt of purchase. I sent both. Then they asked for proof that the book was purchased NEW. This was not noted on the Amazon invoice. I was instructed to reach out to the vendor for the additional info. Or I could spend more money on another access code. There are other study options available.
