Crassula ovata "Ogre Ears" is named after a favorite swamp loving ogre known for his small funnel shaped ears. This is a monstrose (mutated) variety of jade which shows tubular or "ear" shaped green leaves, with bright red circular tips. C. ovata "Ogre Ears" has clusters of white, star shaped flowers that appear in clusters. This plant can be kept as a small succulent or grown large into a tree-like shrub.

The name Crassula comes from the Latin "crassus" meaning thick, which refers to the fleshy leaves and stems of the plants in this genus. Crassula contains over 200 species of succulent type plants, the majority of which come from the southern tip of Africa. This genus has a wide variety of sizes, ranging from 1" miniature succulents to 6' dense shrubs. They can grow into erect shrubs or mini-trees, or remain prostrate as groundcovers or clumps of rosettes.

Crassula prefer full sun to partial shade, however intense afternoon sun can burn foliage. Most species can be grown indoors if given a large south facing window. Propagation is generally easy  and can be done by leaf or stem cuttings, and even seed. Crassula are best planted in well draining soil, and are susceptible to root rot or fungus if overwatered. Many species go dormant when temperatures go too high or low. Some varieties of these succulents are hardy but most will not survive a hard frost.

Here's your opportunity to order exact succulent species at an awesome price!  We will continue to add new types as they become available, and we're pretty darn sure you won't find them cheaper anywhere!

We always do our best to ship the largest and healthiest succulents we have available.  But size and color may vary based on multiple factors including time of year, growing temps, length of days, and their growing seasons. Succulents generally slow down and almost stop growing during the coldest months of the year, but come spring and summer you can often see growth in just days.

If looking for exact Haworthias, Gasterias and Aloes, please see those pages specifically.

Some containers may have 1,2,3, and even 4 smaller rooted plants, this can also vary based on the species and the way they grow, vertical vs horizontal being possible factors.  Containers are basic plastic nursery stock with colors are usually orange or black, and approx. 2" tall and across the top.

Please remember these are juvenile specimens, they are nowhere near maturity, and any small imperfections will be outgrown in time.  Please see our multiple blogs and care instruction on potential soil displacement during shipping, and propagating many types of succulent leaves etc.

Unfortunately we cannot delay shipping on these exact types as our stock is always changing and what we have available today, may not be available tomorrow or next week/month.

Makes me look older - Not for me!
This review is for the 05 Dark Beige color of the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Teint Mattifying Mousse Matte Foundation for Oily Skin and Sensitive Skin. Disclaimer: This review was written by my wife! We ordered "Honey Beige" and received "05 hâlé - Dark beige", which is not one of the colors offered on the product page. Hâlé means sunburned or tanned, and it is for darker skin, not for the darkest skin tones. It’s too dark for me, as I usually use the second lightest color for foundations. PROS The foundation is not fragrant like some of their products Does not irritate my skin at all Does not give a cakey look Covers pores and uneven skin colors well Looks beautiful right after the application CONS In less than a couple of hours, my skin, especially forehead area, looks almost exactly like the texture of "saffiano printed calf skin", with numerous fine straight-line wrinkles going both vertically and horizontally. I could not believe that, so I tried the foundation with and without moisturizers and foundation bases, but my forehead still ended up in looking like the material with which my purse is made. I don't even have visible wrinkles on my forehead without the foundation, so it ended up making my skin look far worse, rather than better. Not recommended.

Very good foundation
So far, this is working very well for me. It is a little dark for my winter color, but I lighten it with a bit of moisturizer. In the summer when my skin gets more sun, the shade should be perfect.

Light and airy
It is a mousse and goes on so light and airy. Love the way it feels. I dont need a lot of coverage, this went on natural and thin, which was exactly what I need.

Saved my skin barrier!!
I rarely write reviews, but this product truly deserves it. I have sensitive, dry skin with mild to moderate rosacea that became even more fragile after chemotherapy. While trying to repair my skin barrier, I overdid it with actives and completely wrecked my skin — it was red, raw, burning, and peeling. I turned to ChatGPT for help, and this Avene Cicalfate+ was one of the top recommendations. I started using it about three weeks ago, and wow — the difference is incredible! My skin has healed beautifully. The redness is dramatically reduced, the irritation is gone, and my skin feels soft, smooth, and calm again. The texture is soft and luxurious without being sticky. I love that there’s no noticeable scent, which is perfect for sensitive skin. It arrived well packaged and intact. For the results it delivers, I consider it an amazing value and will absolutely repurchase again and again. If you’re on the fence about trying this, go for it — it truly rescued and revived my skin barrier. This is now a permanent part of my routine and 100% a holy grail product for me!

Hydrating and Powerful Barrier Repair Serum!💧
This serum has been life-changing in calming and restoring my skin barrier. It absorbs quickly, feels lightweight, and instantly soothes irritation without feeling greasy. I’ve noticed my skin looks healthier and more balanced after just a few uses. It’s gentle enough for sensitive skin and works especially well when my skin barrier feels compromised. It is also fragrance-free, which I always appreciate! Trust me, it’s well worth the money!
