🌹 Whole Dried Rose Petals (Rosa centifolia)
Our Premium Dried Rose Petals are whole Rosa centifolia petals, the classic many-petaled cabbage rose long prized by apothecaries, tea brewers, and herbal crafters. Grown in the USA and dried whole to hold their deep color and soft fragrance, they steep into a romantic, lightly fruity infusion with tasting notes of green apple, strawberry, and cacao. They are equally at home loose in a loose-leaf tea blend, scattered as confetti, or folded into a skincare ritual.
We are a soil-first company at heart. Our own farm in Colorado earned a groundbreaking Haney Soil Health Score of 25.4, a measure of living soil biology that surpasses the readings taken in pristine forest land. We believe healthier soil grows more complex, more potent plants, and that belief sets the biological and testing standard we hold every herb we carry to, these rose petals included.
Rose petals carry centuries of tradition across European and global herbalism, valued for their gentle aromatic character in teas, culinary work, and the skin-loving rituals you can explore in our skin health collection. To trace how this time-honored flower earned its place in the apothecary, read our history of rose petals.
Every lot we ship is backed by a specific Certificate of Analysis verifying purity and quality, and we publish each batch's COA on our rose petals reference page so you can confirm the exact batch in your hands.

Safety & Considerations
Rose petals have a long, gentle history of culinary and topical use and are generally well tolerated. If you are sensitive to roses or other plants in the Rosaceae family (such as apples, almonds, or cherries), introduce them gradually. As with any botanical, those who are pregnant, nursing, or managing a health condition should speak with a qualified practitioner before using rose petals in concentrated or medicinal amounts.
For culinary and tea use, our petals are grown in the USA and verified per lot, so you can use them with confidence. For topical preparations, patch-test a small area first.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use these rose petals to make tea?
Yes. These are whole, food-suitable Rosa centifolia petals that steep into a soft, romantic infusion with notes of green apple, strawberry, and cacao. Use about a tablespoon per cup, steep in just-off-boil water for five to seven minutes, and blend with hibiscus, chamomile, or green tea if you would like more depth.
Are these rose petals safe to eat?
They are grown in the USA and verified by a specific Certificate of Analysis on every lot, so they are well suited to culinary and tea use. If you are sensitive to roses or the wider Rosaceae family, introduce them gradually, and if you are pregnant, nursing, or managing a health condition, check with a qualified practitioner before using them in concentrated amounts.
Will these work for wedding confetti and table decor?
They are a favorite for exactly that. The petals are whole and richly colored, they scatter beautifully down an aisle or across a tablescape, and they are fully biodegradable, which makes cleanup and outdoor venues simple.
What makes Sacred Plant Co's rose petals different?
It comes down to how we farm and how we verify. Our own Colorado farm earned a Haney Soil Health Score of 25.4, a soil-first philosophy that shapes the standard we hold every herb we carry to, and we publish a Certificate of Analysis for every lot so you can see exactly what you are getting. If you are ever not happy, our policy is simple: send it back and receive a full refund, anytime, for any reason.
