Grow fresh, aromatic herbs at home with Heirloom Cilantro Seeds for Planting. This dependable, open-pollinated variety produces lush green leaves and fragrant coriander seeds, perfect for gardeners who value both flavor and self-sufficiency. Suitable for USDA Zones 2–11, cilantro thrives in cool weather and adapts easily to garden beds, containers, or indoor pots for continuous harvests all year long.
Reliable, Cool-Season Growth and Flavor:
Cilantro grows quickly in cool conditions and provides a continuous harvest of tender leaves. The same plants later produce coriander seeds—adding a warm, citrusy depth to your spice collection.
Why Customers Love Cilantro (Coriander) Seeds:
- Continuous Harvest Reliability: Sow successively for fresh leaves through spring and fall; save seeds for future planting.
- Easy to Grow: Germinates quickly and thrives in sun or partial shade, ideal for gardeners of all skill levels.
- Indoor & Outdoor Flexibility: Perfect for raised beds, containers, or garden rows—grow indoors or outdoors year-round.
- Fresh, Versatile Flavor: Bright cilantro leaves elevate salsas, tacos, curries, soups, and salads; dried seeds enhance spice blends.
- Sustainable & Non-GMO: Heirloom, open-pollinated seeds you can regrow season after season.
How to Grow Cilantro:
- Sow Seeds: Plant directly outdoors in early spring or late summer, or start indoors in containers.
- Spacing: Sow seeds ¼ inch deep, spacing plants 6 inches apart.
- Watering: Keep soil moist but well-drained.
- Harvest: Begin cutting leaves when plants reach 4–6 inches tall. Allow some plants to mature and set seed for coriander.
- Succession Planting: Sow every 2–3 weeks for a steady supply of fresh leaves.
Harvest & Use:
- Leaves: Best picked young for tender, aromatic flavor.
- Seeds: Collect when dry and brown for use as coriander spice or future planting.
