Growing tip: Put seeds in a container with a piece of fine sandpaper and shake. This will increase germination rate and decrease the time needed for germination.

SPECIAL NOTE: Strawberries are hard to germinate, and we recommend that only seasoned veterans try them.  They can take up to 4 to 6 weeks to germinate in a lab under ideal conditions. We recommend that they be started in 4 x 4 black pots using a germination mix. They need to be kept between 65 and 75 degrees.
