Binder: Nicaraguan

Filler: Nicaraguan

Profile: Full

The Tatuaje Skinny Mummy is a refined, petite-lancero interpretation of one of the most memorable releases in the Monster Series. Originally introduced in 2012 as the fifth Monster, The Mummy marked a turning point for the collection, bringing a new aesthetic and a slightly altered blend style compared to earlier entries. The Skinny version preserves that spirit but channels it into a precise and concentrated 6 x 38 format.

The blend features a Nicaraguan sun grown wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler, a profile Pete Johnson once described as a “cleaner version of the Black Label blend.” In its Skinny form, the cigar showcases a medium-plus strength experience with heightened clarity of flavor, delivering the essence of the original in a slimmer, more elegant package crafted at My Father Cigars S.A.

The wrapper appears a touch darker than medium brown with hints of chocolate, coffee, and earth. Prominent veins and a fine, gritty texture give the cigar a rustic, mummified aesthetic, perfect for its theme. Pre-light aroma offers dry wood, peppered baked chicken, chocolate syrup, hay, and earth, while the cold draw shifts between cocoa powder, cereal grain, red chili flake spice, and sweet oak depending on the sample.

The Tatuaje Skinny Mummy delivers bold pepper, refined nuance, and an atmospheric smoking experience that honors its horror-film inspiration. Concentrated, flavorful, and unmistakably Monster Series, it’s a standout in the Skinny lineup.

Great weird horror
Format: Kindle
The Department of Truth: The End of the World is the first trade volume of this series, collecting issues 1-5. I don’t want to get into spoilers, but I enjoyed seeing a world building element I was familiar with in fantasy be applied to conspiracy theories. I also loved the art. It’s really stunning! I almost want to buy a print edition in addition to my Kindle/ComiXology edition because it’s so beautiful. I found the plot and concept compelling and can’t wait to read volume 2.

meh...
Format: Paperback
collecting the entire universe, so obviously i picked this up. i absolutely LOVE the stuff written by Ryan Parrott, but it seems like the some of the side stories were just thrown into the universe for the sake of 'diversity'. identity politics is injected into BOTH of the books in this series (that i have read so far... im somewhere in the middle of year two) that were written by Melissa Flores, for no reason except projection, propaganda and forced diversity quotas. the book isnt even an extreme offender or anything, but the 'community' has caused so many problems, in ever facet of society that they have attached themselves to, that i (and so many others) now see any of it as huge red flag... and that is sad, because i was raised to have the EXACT opposite viewpoint, and i did, for well over 30 years (just turned 40).
