4 removable casters let you move the EarthBox outside during the day and inside at night, extending your growing season so you can plant earlier and harvest later. You can also easily move it around a patio or deck to control the amount of direct sun exposure in a convenient manner. The self watering container lets you grow vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers. Two plastic covers (included) reduces the water evaporation rate & returns condensed water vapour back to the potting mix, as well as preventing fertilizer dilution from rain. As plants draw water from the reservoir at the bottom of the unit, they consume only what they need, so you can't over- or under-water them as long as you keep the reservoir from drying out completely.
