Endemic to South Africa and Eswatini, this elegant species grows terrestrially in nutrient-poor, sandy or peaty soils near bogs and seeps. It forms flat rosettes of yellow leaves with purple petioles under intense light, and green leaves with a more upright rosette in lower light. Appreciates higher humidity and can grow in a variety of substrates.

Seeds from the Drosera genus are extremely small, ranging between 0.25 and 3mm. Germination can take anywhere from 7-180 days, but generally occur within the first two weeks under optimal conditions. Cold stratification is not needed. I recommend sowing on a mix of washed peat moss and keep them in high humidity until they sprout. 

This offer includes a packet of 25+ seeds per order. Seeds are wrapped in an origami paper envelope and put into a small plastic baggie. Please be careful when opening the packets as the seeds are extremely small (see photo(s)) Seeds are shipped in a padded, tracked envelope without a heat pack.
