If you're looking for a fun and unique succulent to add to your collection, look no further than the magnificent Cotyledon orbiculata var. oblonga 'Macrantha', also known as Pig's Ear succulent. This plant is native to South Africa and can grow up to 3 feet tall. This stunning plant, with its paddle-shaped, almost fleshy green leaves that form a thin red line around the edges, is sure to make a statement in any home or garden. In late winter to early spring, a long stem arises from the rosette of the plant, bearing clusters of showy, coral-red bell-shaped flowers. This succulent, which spreads to form a colony, grows moderately quickly. It's very easy to care for and doesn't need much attention, making it a great succulent for dry climates.
