A member of the Crassulaceae family, Kalanchoe millotii common name is Millot Kalanchoe or Velvet leaf Kalanchoe. This hairy shrub is a bit of a dwarf, growing to a height of 30 cm maximum. The leaves are hairy and waxy, covered with hairs and hazy green in color. The plant needs six hours of bright sunlight but not direct. It is a fast-growing succulent native to Madagascar. Growth Rate

Millot Kalanchoe has a fast growth rate.

Flowering

Kalanchoe millotii flowers are tiny and white-colored. The plant bears the flowers during summer, which is the blooming season.

Watering

The plant needs frequent watering from fall to winter, which is its active growing time. Watering should be reduced during summer, which is the dormant season. An essential part of Kalanchoe millotii care is that it should be fed bi-weekly during the growing season.

Soil

The Millot Kalanchoe soil should be well-draining. Use clay pots as they drain off well. Go in for soil that is a mixture of peat moss, perlite, and vermiculite.

Hardiness

The hardiness zone of Millot Kalanchoe is 10b to 11b. It is not frost-hardy.

Light

Kalanchoe millotii needs six hours of bright sun for happy growth.

Propagation

Choose leaf or stem cuttings for Millot Kalanchoe propagation.

It is interesting to note that the Kalanchoe millotii, when young, look like the Cotyledon ladismithiensis. Another piece of information worth knowing about this Kalanchoe variety is that it has medicinal use - the plant is used for making medicines to treat cough. Outstanding book
Format: Hardcover
Yes, Aristophanes was a genius in using satire to sting the then politicians. Oh! How we could we use his abilities today in the US! I highly recommend this (and other similar) books to anyone who likes or loves to read excellent books with morals. With this book I now have all of Aristophanes's plays to read over and over to my grandchildren, who love them. Thank you.

This salty 'Frogs' has got legs
Format: Hardcover
I had to read 'Frogs' for school, all the translations I'd found were awful, then I stumbled upon Mr. Henderson's translation and hit the jackpot. No Dryasdust prissiness here, the language is earthy and accessible, and the scholarly footnotes are also very well done.

An excellent translation of Aristophanes' finest works
Format: Hardcover
This book, the fourth in Dr. Henderson's fine series of parallel translations, is perhaps the best of the series, containing as it does the comic masterpiece "Frogs," in my opinion the finest of Aristophanes' works. Henderson's translations are crisp, clear, and hilarious, and his extensive use of vulgarity is always textually and philologically sound (as a few comparisons of Liddell-Scott and the OED will surely reveal). In short, it is the definitive edition of Aristophanes' works, and the only translation accurate enough to be worth having on your bookshelf (and believe me, I've read quite a few).
