Got a plant hanger that's not quite reaching where you need it? This macramé plant hanger extension lets you add extra drop in minutes — no starting from scratch, no fuss. Just loop it on and you're done.

One of our most popular accessories, and it's easy to see why — it's the simplest fix for high ceilings, awkward hooks, or trailing plants that need a bit more room to shine. Each one is made with recycled cotton and a repurposed wooden ring, so it fits right in with any existing boho or natural-style hanger.

Why You'll Love It:

  • Adds length to any existing plant hanger without hassle
  • Available in 3 lengths: 25cm, 35cm or 50cm
  • Universal fit: works with most macramé plant hangers
  • Handmade using recycled cotton & a repurposed wooden ring
  • Sustainable packaging: wrapped in recycled paper and sent in reused materials
  • Watch the video tutorial on this page to help you attach it easily

Who is it for?

Perfect for renters who can't move their hooks, plant lovers with high ceilings, or anyone who's bought a hanger that's just a little too short. Also great if you want to lower a plant to catch more light, or simply reposition it without rehanging everything. If you've ever searched "how to make a plant hanger longer" — this is your answer.

Care Instructions:

Spot clean with a damp cloth if needed. Keep away from direct heat sources and avoid prolonged moisture — if it gets wet, reshape and leave to air dry fully before rehanging. Check the cord and wooden ring regularly for any signs of wear, and don't exceed a 2kg plant weight.

Warnings

Ensure the plant hanger is securely installed with a suitable hook before use. Do not exceed the recommended weight limit of 2kg. Keep out of reach of small children and pets to avoid entanglement risks. Do not place near open flames, stoves or radiators. Check regularly for signs of wear or weakening.

Best book for beginners to learn safe practices in single pitch climbing
Format: Paperback
Great book for beginner climbers, especially those who want to set up top ropes. Goes over anchor setup, knots, gear placement, belaying, rappelling, etc. Lots of good photos. Very easy to read, don’t be put off by the description as a “manual”, and worth reading to learn how to do things safely. It’s definitely not just for those who want to guide or take AMGA courses. If you are debating getting this book or “Top roping” by the same author, get this one, as it contains 100% of the content in the other book (much of the exact same text and photos) and more, and is just as easy to read. In fact, this has a ton of overlap (and many of the same photos) with “Climbing Anchors” which the author co-authored, but is more accessible and spans a wider range of content. If you are the “leader” of your beginner climbing friends or even if you have some experience but want to take a beginner climbing outside, this is a must read.

Perfect reference guide
Format: Paperback
I bought this book to supplement my lessons with an AMGA guide to learn how to set up toprope climbs. I used it many times to practice and reinforce everything I learned. It is really well written and my favorite book in terms of the knowledge contained within. As common sense would dictate this is not a book to teach your how to toprope...it is a reference to what you have learned?

Essential To Read Before the Class
Format: Paperback
This book provides a good overview of what you'll need to know for your AMGA Single Pitch Instructor (SPI) course and assessment. If you plan to take that course this book is a no-brainer. You just have to buy it and read it. There are a few shortcomings: * The photos of how to tie the knots skip a lot and it is impossible to learn the knots from the book. * The photos of what not to do should be clearly labeled with a red cross bar or WRONG overlay on the photo. If you flip causally through the book and look at the photos some very wrong stuff is there and you have to read the text to know that it is not recommended. * The religious debate on anchor systems rages on. Should you set up a Joshua Tree System with Tether or a Backside System? I realize the AMGA doesn't want to pick sides and will say either is acceptable, but the book doesn't even try to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of various anchor systems.
