Kalanchoe thyrsiflora is a beautiful succulent that is a member of the Crassulaceae family. It comes from South Africa and is well-liked by succulent enthusiasts because of its distinctive paddle-shaped leaves and ease of maintenance. It is also known as the Paddle Plant or Elephant's Ear. The broad, paddle-shaped leaves of the paddle plant are grouped in a rosette pattern. Usually bluish-green in hue, the leaves have contrasting burgundy or scarlet edges. The foliage has a unique texture and appearance due to its powdered coating.
With a maximum height and width of 2 feet, Kalanchoe thyrsiflora can provide a striking and sculptural appearance. Paddle Plants may have clusters of tiny, tubular, yellow-orange flowers on tall stalks in the spring. The foliage is the main decorative element, even if the flowers are rather lovely. Plant this plant in the soil that drains well. Bright, indirect sunlight is ideal for plant growth. To avoid leaf burn in the strong afternoon light, offer some shade.
Maintain a temperature range of 60–80°F for the plant to survive. Keep it away from intense heat and frost. Like any other succulent this plant is also sold as "bare rooted," means the soil will not be thir on roots while in transit. This shipping method minimises weight and reduces the risk of soil-borne diseases. Order Kalanchoe thyrsiflora from secculent because it is trusted by thousands of happy customers.
