Common Name:    Dumb cane

The plant is a native to America. This plant can survive in low diffused sunlight. Hence, it is highly recommended to be grown as indoor. The trunk of this plant is not woody but it remains erect independently. The plant is often grown in the home or office environment due to its beautiful ornamental leaves. Size of its Leaves can be increased naturally in humid environment.  The plant is almost maintenance free. We can grow this plant round the year.  This plant can attain maximum height of 6 feet.

Watering & SunlightThis plant prefers to grow well in diffused sunlight. During winter, it can tolerate direct sunlight for few hours. Its stem stores water and it can survive without water for a long period. We should water, only when the soil becomes dry. It can survive without water for a long time. Proper drainage by making sufficient holes in bottom of pot is must. This plant likes misting, especially during summer. But we must ensure that the plant soil should not receive excess water, otherwise misting will be a reason for overwatering in your plant.

Soil:     Its potting mix must be aerated well by use of drainage media upto 20 % (river sand, Leca, Pumice/Perlite or rice husk- Use any one of them). All these items help in aeration of roots also. We can mix upto 20% cocopeat, 20 % vermi compost, 30 % sterilised garden soil + 10% Neem Cake) in its potting mix. This plant does not require frequent fertilizers. We may add fertlizers once in four months.

Ornamental use:   Yes for home or office.

This stuff really works — turns sunburn into a tan! ☀️🌺⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I was skeptical, but this really does what it says! I got a little too much sun and used this right after showering no peeling, no pain, and within a day or two, my skin turned a gorgeous golden brown instead of burning. It feels soothing, smells great, and absorbs quickly without being sticky. Definitely a must-have for beach trips or after any sun exposure. I’ll never go without it again!

Saved My Skin and Left Me With a Tan (and I'm a Redhead!)
Disclosure: For the first week I did layer the Burn to Brown with Solar Recover Save Your Skin Spray As a redhead who accidentally used 30 spf for a long weekend on the beach - this stuff 100% works!!! 3 months later and I still have a tan!!! Not only did it turn the burn to tan, it also cooled down my skin so I could sleep a little more comfortably! For the first week I used both the Burn to Brown lotion (which I prefer for it's cooling effect) and Solar Recovery spray (which I believe helped more with peeling). Would 100% buy both again, especially if you're like me and spend every free moment at the beach despite your fair skin. I used generously multiple times a day after my horrible burn and still had half a bottle left.

Highly recommend!!
I honestly cannot put words how much this stuff has helped my sunburn. It smells good, instantly make the burn feel better, and lasts a long time. If you need something, that’s a little bit better than aloe vera 10 out of 10 would recommend this one!!!

URGENT NOTE: Test in a small area first! Worked, but I'm covered in a rash from contact dermatitis.
You may want to test this stuff on a small area first before slathering it on. I had a bit of sunburn on my face and after showering, applied the gel and it worked great! Then.....contact dermatitis. My whole face blew up in a rash. Unfortunately, this didn't happen until the second day and I had already used the gel on my arms and legs as well. My face has cleared up, but the rest of me looks like I rolled around in poison ivy. I want to scratch my skin off. Pics don't do it justice. This is day 4 of the rash breaking out, so it's cleared up a little and I plan to borderline OD on benadryl this evening before I scratch my skin off. I wish I wasn't allergic, because it truly did work for my sunburn. I've not peeled at all and I was rather crispy.
