Feed all your plants with a single yearly dose. This professional-grade fertilizer strengthens roots, improves growth, and delivers essential nutrients over 12 months—ideal for trees, shrubs, and flowers. Long-lasting, low-maintenance plant nutrition made easy.

Proper plant nutrition results in maximum plant health and growth. Fertilizing your trees and shrubs regularly keeps your plants healthy, strong, beautifully colored, and more disease resistant. This slow release fertilizer in pellet form will work wonders for your plants and give them the quick boost they need to provide long term nutrition and plant growth.

Nutricote Total 360 Professional Controlled Release Fertilizer 18-6-8 contains NPK (slow release Nitrogen, Phosphorous, and Potassium, magnesium, and micronutrients in a controlled release prill. You only need to apply this product once every 12 months, which is great as it minimizes your work and provides your plant with 1 year worth of ideal plant nutrients.

The amount of fertilizer application depends on the size of your plant but it is usually measured by gallon size. Each plant requirement is different and we have instructions on the back of the fertilizer packet! This polymer coated fertilizer will release the nutrients slowly over 1 year period of time. Keeping the soil moist will help the quick release of ingredients to the cooling soil. The thickness of the coating dissolves over time.

The nutrient release rates will vary depending on soil moisture and soil temperatures. Also, check out our Bulk Slow Release Fertilizer for buying in large quantities.

Instructions for using time release fertilizer:

1 bag of high quality nutricote fertilizer weighs 5 oz and can be used as you desire around your garden.

New plant installation: dig your hole, place the plant’s root ball in the hole, and sprinkle water soluble fertilizer around the root ball of the plant before you back fill with your soil.

For existing plants: Either sprinkle on the soil above ground and cover with mulch or to prevent any runoff, dig several small holes around the base of your plant filling the hole with fertilizer and putting a bit of soil or organic matter on top of the hole when finished.

Keep away from children and pets. This plant food is harmful if ingested. This is not organic fertilizer, it is synthetically made, but every ingredient is beneficial to all plants and trees.

Easy Read with good case studies!!
Format: Paperback
I had to purchase this for my Advanced Pathophysiology class in my Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program. It is very easy to understand and have pretty good case studies. I like that the CD that accompanies the book goes into some detail in explaining the cases further and the disease processes without giving you the answers to the questions. It stimulates one to think!! Once this class is over I will go back from time to time to review!!

Helpful
Format: Paperback
This is a nice compliment to other classroom instruction materials. I am teaching an advanced pathophysiology course in a nurse practitioner program. This book is very helpful for students to put together the concepts of patho with the clinical setting. Will use these for in-class group assignments. Case-studies are thorough and offer a variety of different disease processes to choose from. It certainly does not offer a case study for every possible disease or clinical scenario, but does cover most major areas and enough variety in my opinion. Should be helpful in reinforcing the clinical significance of some difficult to understand concepts. I would recommend this text to course instructors.

Good book!
Format: Paperback
Very helpful book for pathophysiology. The CD not only gives you answers to the case studies but gives you clear details of the clinical Pathophysiology of a particular disease. Definitely recommend it to students going for their Master's degree!

No Answers Provided to Case Studies
Format: Paperback
The cases are helpful; however, realize that there are NO answers whatsoever to the questions presented in the cases--not a huge problem I suppose, b/c you can google everything, but certainly an annoyance. (esp. when there are multiple possible answers. The author states in the foreword that some of the cases are real; in which case, why not provide the justification presented in the patient's chart as to why that patient takes a particular drug, esp. considering that you may take a drug for its side effects rather than its therapeutic effect. . .anyhow. . ) I think if the author provided at least SOME insight/guidance to the cases that it would be much more helpful, but until then, I'm skeptical as to why others gave this book 5 stars.
