It's great to have a consistent style and approach to my photography by using natural light and not manipulating the colors in images. It's a personal choice for photographers to decide whether or not to manipulate their images, and both approaches can result in stunning photographs.
When it comes to capturing the tones and colors of the sky, it can vary depending on the time of day, weather conditions, and other factors. September 2016 seems to have been a significant moment for me, as I noticed some tones in the sky that resonated with my "Starting Point" image. I believe "Yellow Water Lily Pond" is a beautiful and serene image captured at the outdoor area of the Garfield Park Conservatory. Water lilies are often associated with tranquility and grace, and they can make for captivating subjects in photography. This is the first image where I captured the reflection of the sky since the starting point and became the signature image for the water lily series.
