Introducing the rare variegated Adenium obesum, which is a striking and sought-after plant that has captivated gardeners and plant enthusiasts worldwide. This particular grafted Pink desert rose, hails from Thailand and is distinguished by its beautiful, variegated foliage and stunning pink flowers.

Adenium obesum is well-known for its resilience and unique appearance, making it a popular choice for both indoor and outdoor gardens. The Grafted Pink variety, with its variegated leaves and vibrant blooms, is a collector's item for those who appreciate rare and unusual plants.

The most notable feature of this grafted adenium is its variegated foliage, which displays a mix of green, cream, and white patterns.

The leaves are thick, and fleshy, and often have a glossy sheen, adding to the plant's ornamental appeal.

This variety is grafted, meaning that the variegated foliage is the result of a deliberate cultivation technique, ensuring that the plant maintains its striking appearance.

When fully grown, this Adenium grafted plant typically can grow up to 3 feet tall. The plant has a slow to moderate growth rate, making it manageable for indoor cultivation.

Its caudex, or swollen stem base, can become quite thick over time, adding to its distinctive look. The caudex acts as a water reservoir, allowing the plant to survive drought conditions. While the plant remains relatively compact, it can live for many years, becoming more impressive with age as the caudex thickens and the branches spread.

The flowers of the Grafted Pink Adenium obesum are trumpet-shaped and typically a vibrant shade of pink, though the intensity of the color can vary depending on growing conditions. These flowers bloom in clusters at the tips of the branches and can appear throughout the growing season, adding a splash of color to the plant’s already striking appearance.

To care for this plant, it is important to provide it with plenty of bright, indirect light if grown indoors, or full sun if grown outdoors. It prefers well-drained succulent soil, opens in a new tabGo to soil cactus mix blend 1 gal 4 qt cacti succulent dirt compost growing media and should be watered sparingly. Overwatering can cause root rot, so make sure the soil dries completely between waterings.

When growing indoors, the grafted Adenium plant thrives in warm conditions and should be protected from temperatures below 50°F. For outdoor cultivation, it can grow in USDA zones 9-11. When grown indoors, placing it near a sunny window is ideal, while outdoor plants should be sheltered from heavy rain.

When it comes to propagation, the variegated Adenium plants can be challenging due to their grafted nature. The most common method is through grafting, where a variegated scion (a cutting from the plant) is grafted onto a hardy rootstock. By using this method, the variegated traits of the parent plant will be preserved in the new one.

Grafting requires some skill and patience but can be rewarding for those who are up for the challenge. Alternatively, Adenium obesum can also be propagated from seeds, though the offspring may not display the same variegation or flower color as the parent plant.

Overall, the Rare Variegated Adenium obesum Grafted Pink is a stunning and unique plant that offers both aesthetic appeal and resilience. Its variegated leaves and vibrant pink flowers make it a standout in any collection, while its ability to thrive in harsh conditions adds to its allure. Whether grown indoors or outdoors, this plant is relatively easy to care for, provided its basic needs for light, well-draining soil, and careful watering are met. For those interested in rare and exotic plants, the Grafted Pink Adenium obesum is a must-have, offering years of beauty and satisfaction.

Garmin has been a super disappointment.
Style: Alpha TT 25
FOR THE REMOTE: For reasons I cannot fathom as a software developer, the Garmin developers chose to program the handheld to wait for GPS lock before allowing you to control the collar. This is stupid beyond belief and causes frustration that simply shouldn't be. Look Garmin, the remote should be able to communicate with the collar first and foremost. I want to be able to power everything up, put the collar on the dog, and walk out the door. If my dog sees a rabbit or deer, I want to be able to remind him not to chase. I DON'T want to stand there staring at my remote greeted by the message "Waiting for GPS" with all the buttons non-responsive. Fix this! This should be super easy to fix with a firmware update. Fix it and I'll gladly give this unit 10 stars! GPS is way too finicky to have to wait for it before using the basic controls. Update: SERIOUSLY!! HOT GARBAGE. This remote couldn't find a satellite if I stuck one up its... AGH.. and you can't communicate with your dog's collar until it does. FOR THE COLLAR: You won't be happy with the beeper.. It's super quiet. The light is an awesome feature. Vibration may work for your dog, mine doesn't seem to notice it at all. If the antenna was any longer it would pick up signals from outer space. Buy the shorter one if you decide to go with this unit and don't need to keep your dog from crossing an ocean. Seriously though... I'll never buy anything Garmin again. I would recommend you don't either.

Works Great, Use Daily, No Issues
Style: Alpha TT 25
While expensive, this product is rock-solid and has not given me a single issue over 2 years of use. Would buy again, highly satisfied. Can't beat the functionality or peace of mind of knowing right where our beloved family pet and hunting companion is located.

Great little radio, it was.
Great value for the price. I have received excellent audio reports on a couple repeaters I have tested on so far, on the first day with the radio. Love how you can customize all the display background and text colors. Tempature sensing fan works properly. Unfortunately, they do not send a programming cable with this radio, very annoying! It will not save offset and t-ctcs tone into memory mode when programming by hand, which is unfortunate because it is easier to program by hand than some other cheap radios, like the Baofeng keypad. I really wanted to upload all my channels via Chirp, and to make sure Chirp is actually supported before posting review, but it is what it is, and now I have to find a proper programming cable, then hope I did not pick one that does not work. Other than this very disappointing fact, this radio is well worth the money and I highly recommend if you are on a budget or just getting into the hobby. I have mainly been working HF since getting my General ticket and have made contact all over the world, so you can rest assured this review is by someone who knows what they are talking about. Grab one while you can, you will not be disappointed, except for them not including a programming cable! Edit: Have to return, squelch not working on second day. Right in the middle of a net, had to use monitor button to finish my contact. Turn monitor off and the receiver will not open squelch, which is set to 1. Can set squelch to 0 and receive but anyone who runs VHF/UHF knows that, unlike HF, an open squelch is just too noisy. Spent hours trying to fix, no joy! 73, Stephen

Compact, loud, controls similar to Baofeng handheld, knobs aren't that great.
My first mobile rig, and currently the one I'm still using. I don't' use it too heavy, but I've had it for about 3 years and it's worked great. I've used it on many different applications Pros: Compact size, good display, small fan on the rear to help keep the unit cool. The controls are very similar to a Baofeng handheld radio so great for beginners who likely started out with that brand. Compatible with GMRS, FRS, other "out of band" frequencies (mine was from the box, I can't guarantee the same with a newer model though). Do this at your own "risk," you are an adult and can make your own choices :) Cons: Fan is a bit loud if that's something that bothers you during a long QSO. Repeater tail squelch is loud at times. But the biggest con by far is the knobs are garbage. They are rubber, and you will most certainly have one fall of at some point and loose it. I purchased some small guitar amp knobs and replaced the (now both lost) factory knobs. If the knobs were metal or fixed to the device I would give 5 stars.
