With a name like Heart of Flame, expect nothing less than spectacular from this tropical plant! Gardens will be exploding with vibrant color and tantalizing textures! Heart of Flame is a flowering plant native to forests and fields of Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. It is a terrestrial bromeliad. This large, tropical plant is cultivated for its attractive dark green pineapple-like leaves and its spectacular inflorescences. The inner leaves will turn a fiery red during the blooming period. Small, fragrant white and burgundy flowers will also appear in the center from late spring to early summer. The leaves have long, sharp thorns on the margins. The plants form large, mound-like colonies. It is used as an impenetrable border plant in the landscape and near houses. After it blooms, orange, edible fruits develop on the flowering stalk. The fruits are aromatic and edible and have a taste that is reminiscent of apricots, pineapple and loquats. They are eaten fresh and are used to make a refreshing fruit juice. The long leaves have tough fibers that are extracted to make thread.

Heart of Flame is an easy-to-grow, extremely hardy garden plant that doesn't require much care. It can even withstand extended droughts and frosts! This evergreen plant will grow to be about 2 feet in height, and can spread up to 5 feet across! It does best in cool, moist, partially shaded areas in soil with good drainage. They would be ideal as ground covers, borders, and accent plants. For the best visual effect, plant in masses. Heart of Flame can also be grown as an indoor plant.  Hardy in zones 9-11.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Easy to use and produces vibrant prints
This Hiipoo sublimation ink has been a fantastic upgrade for my EcoTank printer. The autofill bottles fit perfectly into the ink tanks - no syringes, no mess, and no wasted ink. Refilling is quick and hassle-free, which makes the whole process so much easier. The print quality is excellent. Colors come out bright, vivid, and crisp with great saturation and no fading. It transfers beautifully onto mugs, T-shirts, and tumblers, drying fast without smudges. I really appreciate that it works ICC-free, yet still delivers professional results. The ink is certified and feels reliable, and I’ve had zero clogging issues. Overall, this is a high-quality, easy-to-use sublimation ink that’s perfect for both hobby projects and small business use. Definitely recommend for anyone doing heat transfer printing.

I recently bought my second set of Hippo Sublimation Ink and continue to be thrilled with the results. This ink has proven to be a fantastic choice for my sublimation projects, delivering on all fronts. Hippo Sublimation Ink works exactly as promised. It sublimates effortlessly onto poly blend items, producing bright, vivid transfers every time. The colors are striking and true to the design, which is crucial for quality sublimation work. The results are consistently impressive, making this ink a reliable option for any project. One of the standout features is the great price. Hippo Sublimation Ink offers excellent value for money compared to other brands. Despite its affordability, it performs just as well—if not better—than more expensive options on the market. Using Hippo Ink in my Epson printer has been a breeze. The ink flows smoothly and doesn’t clog the printer, even after not being used for two weeks!!! I’ve had issues with other brands clogging my printer, leading to frustration and wasted time, not to mention all the maintenance puts wear and tear on the printer. With Hippo, there’s been no such problem, making it a hassle-free choice for sublimation printing. Hippo Sublimation Ink has exceeded my expectations in terms of performance, price, and ease of use. It’s the only ink I will use in my printer from now on. If you’re looking for a high-quality sublimation ink that’s both affordable and reliable, Hippo is an excellent choice. Great for Sublimation!
I’m a bit new to sublimation and was worried about having dull colors, but this ink is doing wonders! The quality is great, I can adjust the amount on the printer and get the exact, rich, vibrant colors I want. (I found some recommended settings for brightness, contrast, etc… and then tweak the cyan, magenta, and yellow to the desired amount.) I definitely recommend getting this ink! It’s so easy to refill the printer (I have an Eco tank 15000). The cost is not bad at all. I’ve only washed some of the items one time and so far the ink has remained unchanged. Seems like a winner to me!

Vibrant colors, great traction on fabric, and easy cleanup
This sublimation ink has been a great find. The colors are vibrant and transfer beautifully to fabrics, mugs, and phone cases. The traction on the material is excellent—designs don’t smudge or fade easily after pressing. I also appreciate how clean it is to work with. Refilling my Epson EcoTank printer was simple, and there were no messy drips or stains. Cleanup of tools and surfaces was quick with just a damp cloth. For beginners or experienced crafters, this ink delivers consistent, professional-looking results every time.
