Each plant pot is unique, as the recycled plastic shreds are measured, mixed, injected and finished by hand. We therefore cannot guarantee that the pot you see is the one you receive. But that’s the magic in the process - each one has its own unique swirls and layers.
Various options are available:
- Kintsugi or Tie-Die - Made of Polypropylene - PP [5]. Drawing from a stock of DVD cases, coat hangers, tupperware lids, plastic bottle tops, and more to create these handmixed colours.
- Ocean Plastic - made using fishing net rope reclaimed from the ocean
- Plastic Bottle Top (Green) - Made of High Density Polyethylene - HDPE [2], made entirely out of plastic bottle tops collected by people in Relic's community
Relic takes plastic waste from local businesses and make new 100% recycled plastic products that last. Each item is unique - the mix of plastic waste used creates beautiful swirls of colours.
Relic takes plastic waste that has little or no value in the current system, and handmake unique, beautiful products that last. Production is all under one roof - from collecting, sorting and shredding the plastic to mixing, melting and finishing. All by hand in their UK premises.
