As the plant matures, its large, heart-shaped leaves develop prominent veins and a rippled margin. Native to the Choco region of Colombia and Ecuador, this plant thrives in tropical rainforests. Its natural habitat provides the perfect backdrop for its lush growth.  Much like its relatives, Philodendron verrucosum El Choco Red loves to climb. Train it along a moss pole, and watch it ascend gracefully. Alternatively, let it drape elegantly from hanging pots – a verdant waterfall of heart-shaped leaves.
