Callisia repens ‘Rosato’ is a sweet little trailing houseplant with blush-pink, cream and green foliage that looks especially good spilling from a shelf, hanging pot or plant stand. Sometimes sold as Pink Lady or Turtle Vine, this fast-growing plant stays nice and compact but trails beautifully as it matures, making it a great choice for bright spaces that need a pop of soft colour. It’s easy to style, easy to love, and perfect for adding a bit of whimsy to your indoor jungle. The cultivar is commonly sold under both the Callisia repens and Callisia rosato naming.

Plant Care 

Light: Bright indirect light, can tolerate lower light, but won't grow as well or give you as many lovely colours. Direct sun can scorch the lovely leaves.  

Watering: As a semi-succulent, they don't need loads of water. Water when the top inch of the soil is dry. This plant likes to be moist but don't overwater. We find bottom watering to be best.

Temperature: 15-27°C is ideal, but it can tolerate down to 10°C

Potting: A well-draining and moisture-retaining mix is best. The sandy loam mix is a good fit. 

Hot tips: This is an easily propagated plant, which is great as they only have a short life span, so be sure to take cuttings, and your plant will live on forever!

This book would be helpful to office managers who are overseeing small self-managed projects. There is heavy emphasis on people management and almost none on any practical project management techniques. I am a YouTube follower of the authors book, and I purchased her book to take advantage of her real life experiences of flipping over 30 + houses. Because I had already purchased my first house I focused on Part 2 to help me organize my renovation, and revaluate my approach. The book is well written, reading flows, the notes, graphics that call out important details are well place, the models to follow are super useful and the resources are endless. There is an online digital resource that is extremely helpful too. There is so much in this book. I will come back and update as I get through it, but I can say this is an excellent purchase already well worth the money spent. I watch her YouTube channel, and review the online resources regularly, and carry this book with me as I am doing the work as I work, so taking all my spare time to study and review. Part 2 is where I am focus now since I am starting my renovation. I am doing a "cosmetic" renovation, and her advice about where to focus my budget has helped me decide where to start, what to buy (study comps online - I personally like Redfin, but Zillow too) and I already have a realtor I am working with, and was recommended a contractor by my agent. So - off to the races. It is a downturn market so I am taking my first flip slow, but in a few months I will update my review. I highly recommend buying the book, it is like an idiots guide to house flipping, but better....you have her YouTube channel, and the online resources too! Enjoy!!
