This print features 20 watercolor illustrations of foliage from different varieties of Epipremnum and Scindapsus by Aaron Apsley. These plants that are commonly referred to as "Pothos" plants. Originally from the tropics of Southeast Asia and Oceania, Epipremnum and Scindapsus are two closely related genera in the aroid family. The genera Pothos is in fact a separate group of aroids, and that name is no longer botanically correct for these varieties; however the shorter, easier to remember name "Pothos" seems to have stuck. These are some of the most popular and beloved tropical houseplants grown all over the world. Each variety is numbered and identified at the bottom of the image. Unframed print on matte fine art paper, in a protective sleeve with backing board.

Good content but not great for Kindle
Format: Kindle
Solid writing with not-many editorial issues (rare these days so overall, that’s a thumbs up). Lots of links that take you to other pages, but in both a kindle and the kindle iOS app, you won’t find a way back to the original page, which is infuriating. Not super happy with the black-and-white photos, either.

More than a bit dry, but worth reading
Format: Hardcover
Nice, fresh look at Carthage. It can be a touch dry and in some places hard to read but worth the effort. Most histories of Carthage start and stop with the Punic Wars, this is a much more expansive look at Carthaginian and Phoenician history. Given its scope I would have expected a much larger book but Carthage was destroyed and along with it, so too was its history.

great book
Format: Kindle
My 6 year old daughter really likes it. She wants to read #2. “I liked the ghosts,” she said. There’s sweet relationships between the characters and a fun mystery.
