Kalanchoe tomentosa ‘Teddy Bear’ is a rounder, thicker-leaved form (or “sport”) of K. tomentosa ‘Chocolate Soldier’, discovered on Altman Plants growing grounds. Magic City remains, perhaps, my favorite volume out of Yusef Komunyakaa's distinguished body of work.
