Reconnue pour sa résilience quasi indestructible, elle déploie de longues lianes garnies de feuilles cordiformes (en forme de cœur) vertes, généreusement éclaboussées de jaune doré. C'est la plante parfaite pour les débutants ou pour quiconque souhaite ajouter rapidement une cascade de verdure luxuriante à son décor avec un minimum d'effort.
Caractéristiques
- Feuillage : Ses feuilles persistantes en forme de cœur sont d'un vert profond marbré de superbes éclats et de stries jaune doré. L'intensité du panachage varie selon l'exposition à la lumière.
- Luminosité : Extrêmement adaptable, il tolère un large éventail de conditions lumineuses, de la faible luminosité à la lumière vive indirecte. Une meilleure exposition à la lumière vive (sans soleil direct) favorisera un feuillage plus panaché et coloré.
- Port : Il possède un port retombant naturel, idéal pour les suspensions, mais peut aussi être guidé pour grimper le long d'un tuteur ou d'un treillis, s'accrochant grâce à ses racines aériennes.
- Croissance : Sa croissance est rapide et vigoureuse. Ses lianes peuvent facilement s'allonger de plusieurs pieds en une seule année dans de bonnes conditions.
- Humidité : Il n'est pas exigeant et s'accommode parfaitement de l'humidité ambiante normale d'une maison.
- Terreau : Un terreau universel pour plantes d'intérieur, bien drainé, est tout ce dont il a besoin.
- Température : Il prospère dans des températures intérieures standards, entre 18 et 29 °C.
- Arrosage : Laissez le terreau sécher sur quelques centimètres en surface entre les arrosages. Un de ses grands avantages est de montrer visiblement quand il a soif : ses feuilles s'affaissent légèrement.
- Résistances : Exceptionnellement résistant à la sécheresse, aux oublis d'arrosage et aux conditions de faible luminosité.
Utilisation
- Types d'utilisation : C'est la plante par excellence pour les paniers suspendus, pour garnir le dessus des bibliothèques et des armoires, ou pour habiller un mur avec un treillis. Sa polyvalence est presque sans limite.
- Avantages décoratifs : Le Pothos Doré apporte une touche de vie et une dynamique verticale ou retombante à n'importe quelle pièce. Il est également réputé pour être l'une des meilleures plantes pour purifier l'air intérieur.
Entretien
- Fertilisation : Apportez un engrais liquide pour plantes d'intérieur environ une fois par mois pendant la période de croissance (printemps et été).
- Taille : Taillez les lianes pour contrôler leur longueur, encourager une croissance plus touffue à la base et pour propager facilement la plante.
- Rempotage : Rempotez tous les 2-3 ans ou lorsque vous constatez que les racines ont rempli le pot.

ACTUALLY heavy duty

These plates are actually better than I expected. I’ve used a lot of disposable plates that claim to be “heavy duty” and then immediately start bending the second you put real food on them, but these feel sturdier than the average cheap paper plate. The 9-inch size is a good everyday size too, big enough for a normal meal without feeling tiny, and I like the natural brown color because it looks a little nicer and less flimsy than plain white party plates. For cookouts, birthdays, quick dinners, or anything where I just do not want extra dishes, these have been really convenient.
What I like most is that they feel substantial without being overly thick or bulky. They hold up better than the thin paper plates that get soggy fast, and that matters a lot when there’s anything heavier or messier on them. I also like having a bigger pack on hand because disposable plates are one of those things that disappear faster than you think, especially with kids, parties, or just busy weeks. The compostable part is a nice bonus, but honestly what matters most to me is that they actually do the job and don’t feel like they’re going to fold in half in my hand.

Great Value and Very Durable Plates

These plates are a great value for the price considering the quantity and the quality you get. Getting 75 plates at this price point is already a win, but the durability makes them even better.
They’re biodegradable, which is a nice bonus, and they’re definitely not flimsy. These plates are stiff and sturdy — I can load them up with a pretty heavy plate of food and they still hold up without bending.
They also do really well in the microwave, which makes them even more convenient for everyday use or parties.
Overall, a really solid disposable plate option that’s durable, eco-friendly, and a great value.

A bit iffy on these plates

These plates are ok, but certainly not the best I've found.
On the positive side, they are what I'd consider "Lunch Size" an are somewhat sturdy. They'll hold a sandwich and chips with little effort so, as a plate, they do... plate.
Where I am a bit hesitant is in their molding an construction. You can see in my photos that there is significant staining/watermarking on the plates from the manufacturing process. This could be simply from the way the wet pulp was extruded and formed, but it honestly gives me a bit of the ick. Not that it's particularly gross, but it does make me wonder how sanitary the plates are or what binders might be leeching into my food.
In my last photo, you can see a comparison to a compostable plate that I really like. The finish is cleaner and the mold included an inner ridge which gives the plate more stability - making it less likely to flex under weight. Both are sugar cane fiber plates and my preferred plate is a few dollars more expensive for a comparable pack, but the clean appearance and extra rigidity make it worth the added spend in my opinion.
Ranking these 3-stars might lead some to think they're bad - and to be clear, I don't think they are. They're just adequate. If you're looking to save a few bucks on a compostable plate, these WILL get the job done. I would just shy away from using them with wet or acidic foods since they don't boast the highest quality of manufacture.

Strong Eco Friendly Plates But Not Great For Hot Food

I picked these up because I wanted something more environmentally friendly than the usual plastic or paper stuff. They are made from bamboo and bagasse, and you get a good amount in the pack for the price. For dry stuff like snacks or sandwiches, they are super sturdy and do not bend at all when you pick them up. However, they do not hold up very well when you put hot or wet food on them. Even though they are supposed to be heavy duty, I noticed they can get a little soft if the food is really steaming. They are still perfect for a quick lunch or a party where you want an easy cleanup, but you might want to double them up if you are serving something heavy and hot. The plates are big, and you get quite a bit, making it a really good value overall.

Heavy duty paper plates

These disposable plates are amazing. They're large enough to hold an entire Thanksgiving meal. They're sturdy and strong, and won't buckle even when supporting quite a lot of weight. They don't get soggy even when I deliberately poured water in them. The sides are built up to keep food from falling off the plate. These are everything you'd need in a disposable plate, and they're biodegradable, too! These are ideal for barbeques or outdoor entertaining, or even for everyday use in the kitchen.
