About this Collection

Your first step toward bonsai mastery! This collection includes 5 trees selected from our nursery for their suitability for shaping.

About Jonsteen's Seedlings

All of our trees are seed-grown at our nursery on California's Redwood Coast, which is inspected monthly and licensed by the California Department of Agriculture. Trees can provide a natural barrier against high winds, temperatures, noise pollution and soil erosion, all while benefiting local air quality, wildlife and property values — a Jonsteen seedling will only grow in value and beauty!

About Jonsteen's 100% Guarantee

All of our trees are guaranteed to arrive healthy and in good condition. If one of your trees perishes despite your honest efforts, we will be happy to replace it with a small-sized seedling for just the cost of shipping/handling. You can learn more about our guarantee and tree replacement policy here.

Size Charts

Seedling Size Charts

Due to the dynamic nature of actively growing trees, as well as the tremendous variation between species’ growth rates, we rely on the cubic volume of a seedling’s root mass to determine its “size” (Small / Medium / Large / XL). Within each size there is minor variance — the dimensions provided here represent the category minimum. If exact measurements are essential, please contact us about current stock.

CHOKING HAZARD
Flavor Name: Bone (S), Size: 6 Count (Pack of 1)
CHOKING HAZARD: I purchased these bones for my small Yorki.. He ate the first two without incident; however, on the third bone he unfortunately choked. As the bones wear down, they become extremely stringy, and those strands do not appear to be digestible. I had to rush my dog to the emergency room, which cost $700. Three days later, he became even sicker because he was unable to pass the remaining portion of the bone still in his stomach. I then had to take him to his regular veterinarian, where he was admitted overnight and diagnosed with pancreatitis and a severely irritated gastrointestinal tract. This entire ordeal cost me over $1,500 in addition to the initial $700 emergency visit. I am grateful that my dog is now alive and well, but these bones pose a serious choking hazard and do not digest properly. I strongly caution other pet owners, especially those with small dogs.

One of the cleanest, most reliable creatine options out there
Flavor Name: Unflavored, Size: 30 Servings (Pack of 1)
I’ve tried quite a few creatine brands over the years, and the Thorne Creatine – Micronized Creatine Monohydrate Powder is easily one of the highest-quality options I’ve used. What stands out immediately is how clean and simple the formula is—just pure micronized creatine monohydrate with no fillers or additives. Each serving gives you the standard 5g dose, and it’s NSF Certified for Sport, which adds an extra layer of confidence around quality and purity. Mixability is excellent. Because it’s micronized, it dissolves much better than a lot of other creatine powders I’ve tried—no clumping or gritty texture, even in just water. Performance-wise, it does exactly what you want from a creatine: improved strength, better endurance during workouts, and faster recovery between sessions. Creatine monohydrate is also the most well-researched and proven form for performance and muscle gains, which is why I stick with it. Another big plus is that it’s completely unflavored, so it’s easy to mix into anything—protein shakes, pre-workout, or just water—without affecting taste. Overall, this is a no-frills, high-quality creatine that delivers exactly what you expect. If you’re looking for a clean, trusted supplement that just works, this is an easy recommendation.
