Grow anything from flowers and vegetables to perennial shrubs and trees in our self-contained planter boxes. Features & Benefits:

  • Grow your own healthy fresh vegetables right on a patio
  • Set up on any flat surface: a patio, deck, rooftop, or courtyard
  • Superior strength stainless steel corner pin construction
  • Easy to assemble using included screws
  • Slatted cedar base allows for drainage
  • Rot-resistant solid cedar
  • Made in the USA by a family-owned business
  • 5 Year Limited Manufacturer's Warranty

These cedar garden planter boxes stand on 3 1/2-inch legs, so the bottom is lifted off the ground. This protects your deck or patio, while making it easy to clean under the planter. As you can see in the photos, there is a bottom beam along the length of the planter, and no beam on either end, so there is a 5 1/2-inch space between the ground and planter on the ends.

The planter is high enough to reach without bending or kneeling from a seated position. The garden is easy to access while sitting positioned sideways next to the planter.

Durable Cedar

These cedar garden planter boxes are made from kiln-dried cedar. It is a fragrant wood with an even texture and strong natural oils to protect against moisture and fungal decay.

To further increase the lifespan of your planters, you can apply a stain or sealant. We offer Eco Wood Treatment as one option. Eco Wood Treatment works by penetrating wood fibers to create a natural buffer against water and fungal decay. It increases wood's durability while creating an aged, silvery patina after just a few hours.

Set Up & Assembly

Natural Cedar Planter Boxes can be set up on any hard surface that is flat and level, such as a patio, deck, courtyard or driveway.

Simply stack the boards and insert stainless steel corner pins. Then attach the trim and planter bottom with included screws. A power screwdriver is recommended. Assembly instructions are included.

We recommend letting the boards sit in a garage, shed or covered area for 3-5 days to allow the boards to acclimatize to their new environment. This helps to prevent any cupping, warping, and gapping.

Adding a layer of gravel to the bottom isn't necessary, as the slatted bottom provides good drainage. Optionally, line with landscape fabric to prevent fine soil from washing out.

We do not recommend placing these planters on sod or lawn, as the weight of the planter will cause it to sink into the dirt over time. For gardens on dirt and lawns, please see our Natural Cedar Raised Garden Beds.

Very Helpful
This book applies to others also, not just law enforcement. There is a lot of information in the book that will help you with all your Spanish. Found it to be accurate with dealing with locals as many of the words are a little different than what you learn in Spanish 101(Spain Spanish). For law enforcement officials wanting to learn to communicate with latinos in america, this book will help you learn what you want to say. There are three CD's with the book. I would strongly suggest listening to the CD's over and over again.....it really will help you.

A must-read for anyone interested in communication studies, rhetoric, American public debates
Format: Paperback
In this seminal book, Fisher expounds his "narrative paradigm," a sweeping theory of human communication and more. Professor Emeritus at USC's Annenberg School of Communication, Fisher's discipline was rhetoric. But the book's subtitle -- "Toward a Philosophy of Reason, Value, and Action" -- isn't a stretch. Fisher's theory is a grand project extending its purview way beyond the communication department's door. At root is Fisher's rejection of what he calls the "rational world paradigm," which falsely separates logos from mythos, reason from imagination, fact from value. Doesn't work that way, Fisher says. No such thing as a value-free belief, assertion, or action. Instead, we evaluate according to a "logic of good reasons" -- reasons we value as good -- rooted in the narratives of our experience. An under-appreciated aspect of Fisher's work is the application of his theory to American politics. America's most enduring narrative is The American Dream. But that dream comprises two sub-narrative strands: the "materialistic myth" and the "moralistic myth." These two strands broadly represent conservative and progressive impulses respectively, but those threadbare categories don't do Fisher's explication justice. The two myths find their roots in the narratives of the earliest Americans, and have been battling it out ever since. It's a credible understanding of the history of American public moral debates.
