Tender perennial. Full sun.
These amazing, double petaled blooms look like Peonies with the ease of growing poppies. Gorgeous, large, up to 5" across blooms are such a delightful surprise every time they bloom in our gardens.
Colors in this blend include dark purple, red, red striped, pink, pale rose, salmon, cream, and white.
Grow as a tender perennial in milder climates. In other climates simply allow seed heads to form after blooming period and seed can be rebroadcast to ensure next years plants. Seed benefits from stratification. These can be treated as cool weather plants and seed can be sown in fall for an early spring emergence Or seed can be stored in fridge for up to 4 weeks before planting outdoors in place once all danger of frost has passed. Seed also needs light to germinate so scatter seeds and then press into soil surface. Careful watering techniques should be used as to not cover or disturb seed.
