Ficus Audrey, also known as Ficus benghalensis, is a stunning indoor plant known for its large, matte, dark green leaves and striking white veins. It’s a perfect choice for those looking to add a touch of elegance and lush greenery to their living space. This plant can grow into a beautiful tree with proper care, making it a standout piece in any room.
Light Needs: Ficus Audrey thrives in bright, indirect light. It can tolerate some direct sunlight but should be shielded from the intense afternoon sun, which can cause leaf burn. A spot near an east or north-facing window is ideal.
Water Needs: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water your Ficus Audrey when the top inch of the soil feels dry to the touch. Be sure to allow excess water to drain away, and avoid letting the plant sit in standing water.
Humidity Needs: Ficus Audrey prefers moderate to high humidity levels. Aim for humidity levels around 40-60%. You can increase humidity by misting the leaves regularly, placing a humidifier nearby, or setting the pot on a tray filled with water and pebbles.
