Jake Aarons is in trouble. He's being evicted from his apartment in less than 30 days, the bill for his $50,000 in overdue student loans is almost due, and the digital marketing agency he works at just implemented a new military-style grading system that might cost him his job. To top it off, Jake's new relationship with Maya was going so well... but with everything else falling down around him, he might lose her, too.
In search of answers, Jake reluctantly attends a weekly group meeting at the invitation of a coworker. Everyone in the group is trying to create a lucrative side hustle with one key requirement: they can only spend up to $500 before earning a profit. Over the course of several weeks, Jake undertakes a series of challenges, first learning how to make $1,000 in a single weekend, and ultimately how to discover the untapped skills he needs to take control of his finances--and his life.

Quality, Design, Function = 100% Great!
Color: Black Linen
Looks perfect on a lower shelf of living room coffee table. The black outside is classy and the wood top matches the color of my wood coffee table. Sure makes tissue boxes look great! Good that the bottom is magnetic and the box doesn’t slip out if you lift it up. You get what you pay for and this is all great quality. Thanks for such nice addition to our home.

A Tissue Box That Finally Understands the Assignment
Color: Retro
I tested this vintage-style tissue box cover with the same scrutiny I give freeze dryer liners and financial models—and it passed with charm and function.
Material & Build: The PU leather has a raised floral relief that mimics carved wood surprisingly well. It’s backed by MDF and lined with non-woven fabric, which makes it both sturdy and easy to wipe clean. I spilled coffee on it (not intentionally), and it didn’t flinch.
Functionality: It fits a standard rectangular tissue box and—bless it—completely hides the garish branding and neon graphics that manufacturers seem to think belong in a living room. This cover restores dignity to the humble tissue.
Design: It’s waterproof, durable, and doesn’t collapse when tugging out a tissue. The vintage look is intentional, not kitschy. Think “grandmillennial chic” rather than “forgotten attic find.”
Accessibility Note: The texture and structure make it easy to locate and use for seniors or anyone with low vision. No sliding around or crushed corners.
If you’ve ever looked at your tissue box and thought, “Why must you be like this?”—this cover is your redemption arc. It’s a small upgrade that quietly improves the space and makes you feel like your home is curated, not cluttered.

Love these.
Color: Gray
Never thought I'd "love" a tissue box holder but these are very nice. Weighted do the box doesn't move when you pull a tissue out. Bottom is magnetic, and they don't look cheap. Look well made. Highly recommend!
