Table Queen Bush is a compact version of the classic Table Queen squash that was originally developed by the Arikara tribe and has been a staple of the American garden for generations.  Healthy, bush-type plants produce excellent yields of nearly black, acorn-type squash with yellow-orange interiors.  Well-suited for containers and raised beds, we were able to successfully grow this one in whiskey barrels with a yield of 2 to 3 squash per plant.  On the flat, the plants were virtually carefree and yielded 5 to 6 fruit each with nothing more than occasional watering.  The acorn-type squash are the perfect size for two people and have sweet, orange flesh that is of the finest quality.  Matures 85-95 days from sowing.  Each packet contains a minimum of 25 seeds.
