Introduction

Large Delicious Raspberries from a Fast Growing Plant

  • Most Popular red raspberry
  • Eat fresh raspberries right from your own yard
  • Disease resistant
  • Everbearing Producer with a High Yield
  • Easy to grow

Description

The Heritage Everbearing Raspberry is the world's most popular red raspberry and it's easy to understand why! This delicious berry is large and packed with nutritional benefits. The Heritage Raspberry plant is fast-growing and highly prolific. Fruit is produced in summer and again in the fall. Enjoy fresh juicy raspberries much of the year!

The award-winning Heritage Raspberry Bush is hardy and easy to grow. Eat them fresh or make desserts and preserves. You are going to love the flavor of these sweet, yummy berries. These high-quality fruits don't crumble or mush when ripe like many other lesser raspberry varieties. The plump berries hold up to picking and freezing. Save the juice for your mouth and not your hands.

Heritage Raspberry Bushes do not need support like other raspberry bushes. These abundant berries are low maintenance. Plant them and get ready to harvest berries in the very first year.

Raspberries enjoy full to part sun and are extremely adaptable to any well-draining soil. This bush is drought-tolerant and disease resistant. Fertilize your raspberry bush when planting and in spring with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer to encourage growth and more berries. Prune back canes that are fruited after harvest for best results.

Order a Heritage Raspberry plant today before they are gone.

How To Care

When planting your Heritage Raspberry be sure to choose the right location and conditions for your new plant to thrive. Spring and fall are ideal times to plant. However, if you avoid extreme temperatures you can plant your Raspberry plant almost any time of the year.

Raspberry shrubs thrive in full sun and well-drained, moist, slightly acidic, nutrient-rich soil. Water deeply when planting and 2-3 times weekly for 3 months while your Raspberry plant is establishing. During the growing and fruiting seasons, a raspberry will do best if the soil is kept moist.

Adding a layer of 2 to 3 inches of mulch is highly recommended for Raspberries. Mulching helps to maintain soil moisture, controls weeds, and gives added protection during extreme temperatures. Fertilize when planting and in spring with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer like the one we carry.

Raspberries grown in containers need to be fertilized more often as nutrients leech out of the pot when you water. We would recommend early spring, late spring, and mid-summer. Late winter is a great time for pruning any dead or crowded branches. However, if you have a hard time knowing which is which (don't feel bad - it isn't easy with dormant plants!) prune in spring after new growth has emerged.

The best way to prevent disease and pests is by providing the appropriate care for your plants. Proper location choice, watering, and fertilization are the keys to your success. The biggest pests of raspberries is birds. You can put up bird netting to protect your crop. If positioned properly, this is an extremely effective deterrent. The Heritage Raspberry is hardy and disease resistant.

An Instant Hit and Everyone's New Favorite
Color: GREEN, Size: 14 inch (Pack of 1), Style: FROG
An instant favorite! It took quite a while for my dog to break the squeaker, too. I love that it uses a water bottle for the crinkle sound, and I'm kind of glad the squeaker finally bit the dust. That works out well for us. It's tough enough that it's not ripped yet. Our dog plays with this toy every day. No fluff to pull out was definitely a plus for me. It's a great toy for the price, and I think small and larger dogs would also enjoy it. Johan is 7 months old, weighs about 40 pounds, and always chooses a favorite toy. This one replaced a worn out toy frog that was smaller, but still treasured. I was so glad that he loves this one just as much. It's a little bit longer than a regular-sized water bottle and has dangly legs. I think you could also put plastic that crinkles inside it, and they would love that too. It has a velcro closure to keep whatever you put in there inside, and he hasn't figured out how to open it so far. Update: We just bought a second one of these because he enjoyed the first one to its conclusion. It lasted longer than most toys (about 4 months with HARD use by a giant puppy), and it is his most favorite soft toy. The original didn't rip or tear, but the velcro got worn out when he figured out how to open it. I probably could have fixed it easily, but since Johan is the goodest boy, I got him a new one.

Best Toy Ever! 🐾
Color: GREEN, Size: 14 inch (Pack of 1), Style: FROG
Hey, it’s me, your dog! 🐶 This Frog toy is AMAZING! No stuffing to pull out (finally), so I can chew and squeak it all I want without making a mess. The squeaker is SO satisfying, I carry it everywhere. It’s the perfect size for playing tug-of-war and fetch with my human. I’ve had it for a while now, and it’s still holding up strong—no rips or tears yet! If you love squeaky toys and want something that lasts, this frog is paws-itively the best! 🐸

My dogs have destroyed this toy. Squeaker gone in a day and is ripped open. It was a great little toy just not for use with heavy chewers

Easy to insert bottles into and easy to toss. My dog loves that it both squeaks and crunches. One of his new favorite toys.

Not durable for a large breed
Color: GREEN, Size: 14 inch (Pack of 1), Style: FROG, Color: GREEN, Size: 14 inch (Pack of 1), Style: FROG
I received this toy about 2hrs ago. My dog tore a hole in it already. Not made for Rottweiler/American Bulldog breed, apparently. 🙂 Love that there isn't stuffing though, at least she's not making a mess, lol!
