Iron is essential for chlorophyll production and healthy plant growth, yet it has very low mobility within plants. As a result, iron deficiencies appear first in new growth as interveinal chlorosis, where leaf tissue turns yellow while veins remain green. In severe cases, foliage may whiten, growth can stall, and plant loss may occur.

Ferrilene’s strong, chemically reacted ortho-ortho chelate bonds protect iron from tie-up in difficult soils and continuously “shuttle” iron from the soil to the plant over an extended period.
