Strawberry Alexandria is a distinguished alpine strawberry heirloom prized for its exceptional flavor intensity, aromatic complexity, and day-neutral fruiting characteristics. This perennial variety produces berries substantially larger than wild alpine types while maintaining the concentrated sweetness and sophisticated taste profile that define premium strawberry cultivation. This is a small berry type strawberry, not like the ones you find in the store. But they have so much more flavor. The defining advantage of Alexandria is its day-neutral flowering habit, which extends the harvest season throughout the growing year rather than restricting production to traditional spring-summer windows. This extended productivity maximizes yield from limited garden space while providing consistent fresh fruit availability across multiple seasons. The variety's compact growth architecture—characteristic of alpine strawberries—eliminates the sprawling runners typical of conventional strawberry cultivars, enabling precise spatial management and aesthetic integration. Alexandria's versatility across growing environments distinguishes it from conventional strawberry varieties. The compact form excels in rock gardens, pathway borders, container cultivation, and window box installations, making it invaluable for urban gardeners, balcony cultivators, and landscape designers seeking edible ornamental integration. The plant's decorative appeal combined with prolific fruiting creates functional beauty without aesthetic compromise. Each packet contains 200 Non-GMO, heirloom seeds selected for genetic purity and true-to-type plant development. The variety establishes reliable, consistent plants that honor traditional strawberry genetics while delivering contemporary cultivation reliability. Alexandria thrives in well-drained soil with consistent moisture and full sun exposure, where it maintains steady growth and continuous fruit production. Strawberry Alexandria is essential for flavor-focused gardeners, small-space cultivators, and landscape professionals seeking gourmet berries with ornamental presence. Our sustainably sourced seeds arrive in eco-conscious, fully recyclable packaging designed to preserve seed viability while minimizing environmental impact.

Germination Rate: 84%. Test Date: 04/26. JSS

Growing tip: Put seeds in a container with a piece of fine sandpaper and shake. This will increase germination rate and decrease the time needed for germination.

SPECIAL NOTE: Strawberries are hard to germinate, and we recommend that only seasoned veterans try them.  They can take up to 4 to 6 weeks to germinate in a lab under ideal conditions. We recommend that they be started in 4 x 4 black pots using a germination mix. They need to be kept between 65 and 75 degrees. Here in Texas, these guys have lived through six-degree weather and can handle temps as high as 90, even higher when covered with 30 shade cloth. Plant them in an area where they can keep growing.

Happy dogs
Size: Whole Ears (Pack of 80)
I have two rescue dogs and one of them is a unrelenting 'I'm chewing everything in sight' pitbull. I've had her for a year and she is now three years old . I know this aggressive chewing will stop as she grows older but for now I find any snack that will keep her busy . I have bully sticks which are quite expensive and doesn't last as long as it should.I bought this 100 pack pig ears and of course they love it but it also takes her about the same amount of time to finish it as a 12 inch bully stick, which is a win in my book. These ears are cheaper than bully sticks and are healthier than rawhide chews . These pig ears come in different sizes but most of them are huge where I'm in need to search for a smaller one for my other dog since she is 50 lbs and not 80 lbs like my pitbull. If you need ones that are sliced smaller , then you're in luck because they also sell one with mixed whole and slices. I got the whole ears and I am very happy with the quality of them. It was sent in a sealed plastic bag within a box. Once opened there is no way to reseal them so be prepared to repackage or as I did, put them in a airtight container like the ones I use for their dog food. Hope this helps other dog lovers keep their doggos happy

Huge!
Size: Whole Ears (Pack of 60)
I always bought pig ears at Costco until they quit carrying them. My dogs were addicted at that point, and anything comparable was more than double the price. I ordered a few different brands on Amazon and they were either tiny, or the picture didn’t match what was delivered. I have a Rottweiler. He eats these like potato chips. I read reviews for these that were negative and was hesitant to buy them because of the negative reviews. My only complaint is that I also have a Basset Hound, and she buries these in my house because they’re too big for her to eat at one time.

💔My dogs are throwing up and diarrhea BLOOD!
Size: Whole Ears (Pack of 22)
Salmonella I have 5 dogs. On Thursday, July 17, I received a package of pig ears from this company. This was not the first time my dogs had pig ears but it was the first time I purchased from you. My dogs were each given a pig ear. Within 24 hours, all of my dogs were throwing up and diarrhea. By Saturday, all 5 of my dogs were throwing up straight blood and diarrhea straight blood!!! Puddles! It was horrifying and looked like a crime scene in my house!!! My husband and I were hysterical! My dogs were so weak and lethargic, and sick! 4 of my dogs are under 10lbs and were in the emergency vet getting an IV and fighting for life, as well as my 10 year old American Staff rescue who has a weak immune system because she fought heartworms a year and a half ago before we adopted her. It is currently Monday morning and our nightmare hasn't ended! My husband and I, both work, and have literally not slept since! 24 hours a day we are cleaning up after dogs - vomit, diarrhea, and tons of it! From each! Last night my smallest dachshund threw up 16 times in 15 minutes - on my bed, lap, floor, everywhere! Blood! We are torn- are lives are shattered! In the blink of an eye all because we thought we were spoiling our dogs and giving them a treat! Now they are fighting for life! We have spent thousands at the emergency vet for all of them! We still don't know if they are going to make it! We are so devastated and feel so helpless watching them! We try to console them but how do you console all 5 at once and what do you do when they don't understand & they are so weak and miserable and blood is coming out of their bodies faster than you can clean it! I think it is important for people to be aware! After researching, I found out that this company had a salmonella outbreak across 45 states in 2019.
