Group 2 Herbicide

Proforce Recondo 100WG is a broad spectrum selective herbicide containing the active ingredients Trifloxysulfuron sodium (100g/kg). It is registered for the control of a broad range of key grass, sedge and broadleaf weeds in a number of turfgrasses including Bermudagrass, Zoysia, Durban Grass and Queensland Blue Couch. Recondo 100WG is a 100g/kg Water Dispersible Granule formulation, manufactured in Australia and is a nonscheduled chemistry.

Key Features

  • Full systemic activity (both xylem and phloem mobile) with root, shoot and leaf uptake.
  • 10% water dispersible granular formulation, optimising ease of use and storage stability.
  • Broad spectrum of activity. Registered for the control of 9 broadleaf weeds, 4 grass weeds and 2 sedge species.
  • Strong activity on hard to kill broadleaf weeds such as Creeping Oxalis, Cotula and Curled Dock.
  • Effective sedge control – great activity on Nutgrass and Mullumbimby Couch.
  • Reliable suppression on key grass weeds in Kikuyu and Bahiagrass.
  • Non-scheduled – optimising safety for users and the general public.
  • Convenient packaging – comes in an easy to handle and pour bottle with a measure included for accurate application. It is available in a 100g and 500g pack sizes.
  • Proven safety characteristics to Common Couch, Hybrid Couch, Queensland Blue Couch and Zoysia turf.

Maximising Performance:

  • The addition of a non-ionic surfactant (eg. Octane Extender, Sticker Spreader or Voltage MSO) will enhance herbicidal performance.
  • Ensure product placement as uniformly as possible onto leaves and into crowns. Ideal application water volume should be 400-800L/ha. Nozzles outputting Course spray droplets should only be used.
  • Do not use on Bentgrass, Buffalo, Centipede Grass, Fescue, Kikuyu, Paspalum or Ryegrass turf surfaces as severe turf injury will occur.
  • Avoid application within 10m upwind of bent grass greens. Do not apply to golf course putting greens.
  • Avoid application to newly seeded, sodded or sprigged turf. Delay application until turf is at 100% cover and the root system is developed beyond a 5cm depth.
  • Allow at least 6 weeks between the last application and overseeding with cool season turf grasses.
  • Transient discolouration may occur when applied to Qld Blue Couch, Zoysia.
  • For Kikuyu suppression make 2 applications 21-28 days apart. Best results are gained from Autumn applications.

Weeds Controlled

SEDEGES

  • Mullumbimby Couch (Cyperus brevifolius)
  • Nutgrass (Cyperus rotundus)

GRASSY WEEDS

  • Crowsfoot Grass (Eleusine indica)
  • Summer Grass (Digitaria ciliaris)
  • Ryegrass (Lolium perenne)
  • Bahia Grass (Paspalum notatum) – suppression only

BROADLEAF WEEDS

  • White Clover (Trifolium repens)
  • Bindii (Soliva sessilis)
  • Creeping Oxalis (Oxalis corniculata)
  • Common Chickweed (Stellaria media)
  • Wild Strawberry (Duchesnea indica)

These weeds are selectively controlled or suppressed in turfgrass species such as couch grass, buffalo grass, and zoysia when Indigo Recondo 100 WG is applied as directed.

Mode of Action

The active ingredient in Recondo 100 WG, Trifloxysulfuron sodium is a member of the sulfonylurea herbicide group. Trifloxysulfuron sodium kills susceptible weeds by inhibiting biosynthesis of essential amino acids, valine and isoleucine (ALS inhibitor). In plants, Amino acids are the building blocks of protein and they are primary components in the machinery of cells. Without the production of amino acids, the susceptible weed ceases growth, and dies over a 14-28 day period. Trifloxysulfuron sodium possesses full systemic activity within the plant and is both xylem and phloem mobile. Trifloxysulfuron sodium is also taken into the plant via the roots, shoots and foliage.

Good power strip for under-desk mount.
Size: 6FT, Style: 1 Pack
Affordable power strip. 12 plugs. Good build quality. It says "Surge Protector" in the product description, but without actually taking it apart, I don't actually think there's a surge protector or anything built in - there's no breaker/reset button, which is usually the giveaway for that. Also, no USB charge ports or any extras like that. The plugs aren't only spaced the normal width apart - you won't get many wall-wart style power supplies connected with this. That should be obvious from the product images but I figured I'd mention it. You can get little 8-12" pigtail M/F power cables for cheap that address that problem, though. Easy to attach to underside of desk with included brackets. They're through-hole, not that weird slot/key thing, which is a plus, IMHO. (The last power strip had used those, and after it fell off a few times, I jut gave up and it lived on the floor. This won't do that.) The brackets are visible in the produce images, but come screwed on in reverse - you have to unscrew and flip them before you have the tabs to attach things. I assume that's what "rotating" means in the product description. It makes sense - the product package can be a couple inches shorter and most people presumably don't use the clips anyway. I just think it's great they're there if you need them. Getting all the cords up off the floor makes it a lot easier to sweep or vacuum under the desk, and a lot hard for cats to disturb things. Satisfied customer here!

Solid, well-made product. I like that you can rotate-to-mount for different situations.
Size: 6FT, Style: 1 Pack
Heavy-duty chord, heavy-duty sockets, heavy-duty metal frame. Works well, and I like the lighted on/off switch. Being able to rotate and mount however needed makes it versatile. As clearly illustrated in the product description, the sockets are *really* close to each other, but that perfectly met my needs - but look for alternatives if you plan to plug in wall-warts and other space-consuming devices.

Before Mounting, Re-look at the photos for bracket position to save frustration!
Size: 3FT, Style: 1 Pack
Good, solid quality feel, fit and finish... BUT, as other comments indicate, the brackets can be confusing. They come positioned inward for compact fit in the box. Remove the mounting screw from the end, then SLIDE the bracket off, position the L-shape away from the strip for mounting and re-insert the power strip. Others mentioned lack of a tool for bracket removal but none is needed, they simply slide off (they don't rotate while seated). I (and others, per the comments) envisioned it mounted with brackets turned inward (as they came in the box) but doing that puts a screw head in the way of fully seating the unit into the bracket with misaligned mounting screw holes. Came back to this ad to look at the pictures and VIOLA -- set the brackets outward and screw holes align for perfect fit! Quite honestly, made me feel like a chimpanzee given a simple puzzle to solve, and I FAILED the test until looking at the pictures! Reading the reviews made me feel a little better, seeing I'm not the only one!! All that said, this power strip provides great bang for the buck. I'm using it to power my desktop computer with a three-monitor display and external storage drives.

Extraordinarily Useful
Size: 10FT, Style: 1 Pack
We use this to plug in all of our chargers (an off brand mini chain saw, off brand mini blower, and way to many (but we love and use them) Ryobi products). The are on a shelf, easy to get to, no cords tangled, no plugging and unplugging. Great decision because this is a great product.

Better for entertainment center
Size: 6FT, Style: 1 Pack
Have it mounted under my workshop desk the mount ability is simple and works good also have my phone plugged in and the ports work good, the length of the cable is good if you want it somewhat far from the outlet only thing is I wish with the design they spaced out the outlets since ryobi’s charging outlets are bricks but other than that zero complaints
