The Department of Health (UK) recommends babies sleep in their parents' room but in a separate cot for the first 6-12 months, which reduces the risk of SIDS by up to 50%. The side closest to your bed is dropped down to allow easy access to your baby for night feeds, and it gives your baby all the health and emotional benefits of being close to you at night.
The Iora has five different height positions and easy co-sleeping slide function. Although it has straps to attach it to your bed, it is not recommended by AAP to do so. It is best to pull the side up again once you have attended to your baby. It is SGS approved
It is foldable and can be packed up for trips in its convenient travel bag, which is included.
The Iora has a large stage basket for you to conveniently access everything you may need for night time feeds and nappy changes.
Should you wish to move your baby to his/her own room, the sturdy frame is perfect as a stand-alone crib.
