This special variety of the popular ivy plant is immediately striking: Its lush green leaves are adorned with unique speckles of gold and white—a true play of colors that instantly adds elegance and vibrancy to any room. Native to the tropical forests of Southeast Asia, it's the perfect addition to your green home.
Light ☀️
It thrives in a bright spot with indirect light. It will survive in darker areas, but will lose some of its beautiful coloring. Please avoid direct sunlight, as the leaves could be damaged.
Watering 💧
Only water when the top 2–3 cm of soil is dry. Make sure there's no waterlogging—it doesn't tolerate that at all.
Temperature 🌡️
Optimal temperatures are between 18 ° C and 27 ° C. Protect from drafts and strong temperature fluctuations.
Earth 🌱
It likes loose, well-drained soil with plenty of nutrients – a mixture of peat, perlite and bark, such as in aroid mixes, is ideal.
Fertilizing 🌿
Feed once a month with half the dosage of liquid fertilizer – but don't overdo it, or you'll end up with salt deposits.
Pets 🐾
Caution: Like many other green plants, this one contains calcium oxalate crystals – it is toxic to dogs and cats.
Growth & Care
This ivy plant is incredibly flexible: You can let it grow upwards using a climbing aid or simply hang down freely, creating a beautiful, dense veil of leaves. Over time, it will form long, strong shoots.
Humidity? Yes, please!
The 'White Sport Golden' loves a humid climate – it thrives in a humidifier and will thank you with strong, healthy growth and vibrant colors. ✨
