DESCRIPTION
The Lucky Bamboo Plant - Variegated, scientifically known as Dracaena sanderiana and part of the Asparagaceae family, is a popular indoor plant originating from Central Africa. This variety is characterized by its attractive, variegated green and white-striped leaves, which make it a striking addition to any home or office decor. Lucky Bamboo thrives best in bright, indirect light but is highly adaptable to low light conditions. It should be kept out of direct sunlight to prevent leaf scorching.
In the tropical climate of Singapore, if grown in water, the plant requires a weekly change of water to keep it fresh and ensure the roots remain submerged. If planted in soil, it should be watered when the top 1-2 inches of soil dry out, which typically means watering about once a week. Lucky Bamboo is celebrated for its ease of care, making it an ideal choice for both novice and experienced plant enthusiasts. It also boasts air-purifying qualities, effectively removing indoor air pollutants and improving air quality.
However, it's important to note that while it is relatively easy to care for, the plant is mildly toxic to pets if ingested, potentially causing oral and stomach irritation. Overall, the Lucky Bamboo Plant - Variegated is a resilient and visually appealing plant that can thrive with minimal attention, bringing a touch of natural beauty and improved air quality to any indoor space.
Important to know: As plants are natural products, form, pattern and colour will vary.
