Philodendron ‘Red Medusa’ Hybrid combines deep burgundy petioles with glossy, heart-shaped foliage that emerges red before maturing to a rich emerald green. Water
Let the top 1–2 in (2.5–5 cm) dry, then soak; never leave standing in runoff.
Light
Bright indirect; sheer east or west window keeps reds vivid without scorch.
Temp
Sweet spot 65–80 °F (18–27 °C); protect from drafts below 60 °F / 16 °C.
Soil
Chunky aroid blend: ½ potting soil, ¼ orchid bark, ¼ perlite for airflow.
