Inspired by Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th, the original JV13 was a massive 7 1/2 x 52 double corona built on a dark, heavy profile. The Skinny version reimagines that intensity in a slimmer, more focused form while preserving the signature darkness of the blend.
Unlike most Skinny Monsters, which use Ecuadorian Habano, Skinny Jason is based on the Fausto/Avion-style blend and features a dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers, staying true to the spirit of the original JV13. The result is a medium plus profile leaning full, packed with rich earth, cocoa, oak sweetness, and deep, brooding character.
The wrapper is a dark espresso brown with a smooth, oily texture and visible veins. Pre-light aroma reveals barnyard, earth, dark chocolate, oak, and a hint of sweetness, while the cold draw delivers powdery cocoa nibs, hay, earth, and sweet oak.
