The "Snake Plant La Rubia," also known by its scientific name Sansevieria trifasciata, is a striking cultivar of the popular Snake Plant family. Snake Plant La Rubia is characterized by its vibrant yellow-green leaves with unique variegation patterns. The leaves are typically long, sword-shaped, and grow upright from the base.

What do you get: A very similar plant to the images.

Care Tips:

Light: Snake Plant La Rubia thrives in indirect sunlight but can tolerate low light conditions. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight for extended periods, as this can scorch the leaves.

Watering: These plants prefer to dry out between waterings. Water them sparingly, allowing the soil to almost completely dry out before watering again. Overwatering can lead to root rot.

Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix, preferably a succulent or cactus mix, to prevent waterlogged soil.
Temperature: Snake plants are adaptable to various temperature ranges but prefer temperatures between 60-85°F (15-29°C). Avoid exposing them to extreme cold or drafts.

Humidity: They can tolerate low humidity levels, making them suitable for indoor environments with dry air.

Potting: Repot the plant when it outgrows its container, typically every 2-3 years. Choose a pot that's slightly larger than the current one and ensure it has drainage holes.

Fertilization: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength during the growing season (spring and summer) every 4-6 weeks. Avoid fertilizing during the winter months.

Pest Control:
Sansevierias are relatively pest-resistant, but they can occasionally attract spider mites, mealybugs, or aphids.

Inspect the plant regularly for signs of pests, such as webbing, sticky residue, or distorted leaves. Treat any infestations promptly with insecticidal soap or neem oil.

Not for heavy chewers!
Theme: Animals, Size: Medium
Didn't hold up well - but realized I didn't read that it was for "light chewers." Otherwise, cute design.

Good for Chewers
Theme: Football, Size: Large
Dogs love it, they been chewing on it and it's like new. Also I put treats inside and they really like that. I have a small pit mix and a puppy shepherd husky mutt. They play tug of war with it and it's holding up really good.

Great inside toy
Theme: Football, Size: Large
Our Rottie loves these! I wanted something like the Jolly Ball but that is soft for inside the house. She's had a lot of fun with this, picking it up, tossing it, playing soccer, etc.

A BIG hit with my BIG dog!
Theme: Football, Size: Large
My Great Dane/Boxer mix LOVES this toy. She is over 100 lbs and very strong. She got a hold of my son's real football last year and after she made the initial holes and deflated it we just let her have it. She completely ripped it to shreds in about 7 months but had such a blast tossing it around and galloping around the yard with it, I knew I had to replace it with something of the same shape but hopefully more durable. This is it! She really adores this. We play catch and tug with it and it seems like it's going to last a really long time. The rubber is flexible but strong. I'll try to get a picture of her with it and load it. I highly recommend this toy. We ordered the Large size, by the way. :-) 2-6-2015 - Update: I am just now ordering a new one. For nearly 4 years, the old one has been kept outside in the rain, sun, snow, and ice. She still loves to grab it, shake it, throw it up in the air and play tug with whenever she's outside. The rubber is just now starting to crack so it's time for a new one.

Holding up very well, favorite
Theme: Football, Size: Large, Theme: Football, Size: Large
A few weeks ago I ordered three dog toys for my dogs. I have a German shepherd, Lab mix and a medium mix. The latter boy is the biggest destroyer in our family, he chewed pieces of a black Kong. I did not really have high hopes for this football shaped toy with holes, but it is holding up beyond my expectations. You can see some teeth marks, but they are not chewing it up (yet?). They love to play tug with this, kick it around by themselves, or lie down with it and chew on it. I like it because it is a soft rubber and doesn't make so much noise when they throw it around on my hard flooring. For the price, they are definitely getting a whole lot of fun out of it. Edit: Now, more than a month later, my dog managed to get a small piece off after a heavy chew session. After that first piece apparently it is easy to get more off, and he wants to swallow it so the ball is in the trash.
